Well, I've watched two times your video for to be sure to understand. It's the first time for me too : I never seen a problem with the parts of Tamiya kit's, but I hope if you shoot a pictures for examination, they are sending a new spur gear. For the rest it's all good Addam! The driver is very nice, do you have a idea for painting him? I'm very impressed by the front cell, the parts are very condensed,and multitude of parts. The gold chrome of the wheels is just "wow"! The spikes of the rear axles are very beautiful. The elfes are very gentles! Cool presentation, clear and cheerfulness! See you soon!

I will work with Tamiya to get a new gear, ordered one from eBay to get it fast so I can finish the build but won't hurt to have a spare. I will probably do the driver as he is pictured on the box but who knows, I may get creative! There are a lot of parts to the front end but it works really well and very smoothly. Mornin Addam I got the, what was it, the 1986-87 Fox kit in my twenty's, it was the coolest most high tec model I've ever had gosh nothing could stop it. But one thing bugged the hell out of me and that were the yellow dampers, all that awesome tec and yellow dampers? So when I got my Nova Fox in 20014 I went on Amazon and replaced the yellow with blue, $25 for 4. Thanks Addam!!!! Ralphie

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan of the yellow shocks on most of the buggies with them. I prefer the black ones but Tamiya is all about making a statement with things. I do love the Nova Fox, it drives really nice and looks super sleek without the big traditional goal post front shock tower!

@AddamsPlayground10 ай бұрын
It really depends on if you are going to build it. If you are going to build and run it then I would say get the new one and some MCI reproduction decals and save a good bit of money. If you adding it for the collector value and plan on keeping it as is then the NIB original sounds cool, depending on the price. It all comes down to your budget and plans. Personally I'd go the re-re and reproduction sticker route and be able to build and drive it without any regrets.
