@RCPlayGround just to let you know, the motor in my lift mechanism has packed up.

I saw a home made setup on hobby concepts channel still its nice to know that there is a aftermarket option. I just completed a super b flat bead trailer with stake pockets and stakes and posted on my channel

I've seen a few 3D printed ideas for an axle lift device, but I'm really not a fan of 3D printed parts.

Its a tad slow but works nice, i bought the same one but havent installed it yet.

I have the same and it works great untill i have the put the fenders on the frame then it wouldnt work anymore untill i drilled a 4mm hole at the mark left by the fender screws on the lift mechanisme

I'll keep an eye on that, thanks for the heads up. 👍

Hi Teri, I would have expected two limit switch's. still a nice piece of kit.
@TeriWilde9 ай бұрын
It only needs a limit switch when it retracts so it doesn't strip the motor gears, but when extending, it runs out of thread so its not reached a limit, but a second limit switch would be good to stop the motor spinning. I guess it's down to cost.

Is the axle lift kit only for the 8x4 scania or will it fit on the 6x4 as well
@TeriWilde9 ай бұрын
It's specific to the Scania 8×4/4, but I'm sure the 6×4 could be modified to 6×2 as long as you use the lift axle parts from the 8×4 kit.

Merci

It's a nice bit of kit Teri 😎, It is slow but It's not like you will be using it every 2 minutes if it was too fast it wouldn't look scale 👍
@TeriWilde9 ай бұрын
True, it's nice going to be used every two minutes

I actually bought this lift kit thinking it was for the r620...yes i am that daft, anyway, good excuse to buy the 770 in the future lol p.s. is it rated for 6v max or could you get a bec perhaps and feed more voltage to see if that would increase speed? p.p.s. ahhh yes the beier system, if you can use it on an output it will be driven by battery voltage...be interesting to see if increased voltage would speed it up?
@TeriWilde9 ай бұрын
I've no idea what the voltage limit is, the specs said 6v so if you put 7.2v or 7.4v through it, it might not last long.
@DaleLadDaz9 ай бұрын
@@TeriWilde ahhh right, maybe the receiver can be used, (there is s-bus etc but unsure if spare receiver slots, if using s-bus can be used for other things...rc is all a mystery let alone beier n receivers etc lol)i know the switching outputs are at battery voltage it obviously can work with it as ive seen others use that lift with a beier so theres def a way for it... i haven't installed beier yet, but i am now confident of led's and resistors, and as i plan to use a 2s lipo, i will be resistoring for 7.4v voltage due to the switching outputs being at battery voltage... i know you will get it sorted though, loving this build and thank you for laying it all out in the vid and going through each step... will be invaluable for those at the back of the class like me lol and interesting/entertaining as well for those who already know what they are doing

Sorry to sound critical BUT testing after fitting is a bit pointless.
@TeriWilde9 ай бұрын
Testing before progressing is key, it needs to be fitted properly to be tested correctly.
