Great stuff & presentation with an insight into the Wilde world of organising .. very nice, I like your idea of the hinges on the false wall. I will re visit my Arocs Tipper to improve my functionality and cable organisation, I like cable management also, but yours is a joy to behold, I am always reluctant to cut the excessively long wires from the MFC, but the time has come .. there is only so much space, and too many bends and pinches are not a good idea. I tried all that you have with the false wall but will have to re-visit inspired by your evident success, albeit my current project is the Arocs Tipper complete with interior.. that's the plan .. Thanks as always. Derek

Love the detail, that is what scale model engineering is all about (for me anyway). Like you I try to miniaturise the reality, or as close as realistic. It is worth taking the time and trouble, as you do, to highlight the details. I also use the MFC,s and still fit the full cab internals, not always easy but worth the effort. Great to see your approach and tips and tricks. Your printing of internals is a great idea, I did not know the availability of the water slide paper, I will search some out ..

Well done Teri, a brilliant presentation, definitely a masterclass in Tamiya Gearbox assembly, great video, dialogue and tips/guidance, with principals relevant to all forms of modelling .. take your time, read the manual, prepare your work, establish the goal and look forward to a rewarding result. Yeah Teri, I'm a simple guy still learning about RC trucks. I have a WPL B14 and the set up is worlds away from Tamiya. I do have the flysky transmitter however I only need throttle, steering, gear change "2 speed" lights and I think that's about it. Can you please advise me on what brushed ESC and anything else that I may be leaving out. Kind wishes, Edward in Osaka Japan

Watching this series again.... STILL hoping to get even the cheapest Scania someday..... Anyway, the point. Yes, the MFC does everything easily and reliably.... Most people's main complaint is - NON adjustable sounds. Same with the GT Power. Not everyone is content with their trucks having the SAME engine/horn sound. Being transparent, the sounds you get with a Beier are..... shit! SEGA 80's video game quality. However, with creativity, which I know you have plenty of, you can make a Beier sound like you want it to. Not what you're forced to live with out of the box. Try to understand that. I understand that I have no real opinion of the MFC.... I could never afford one, and the 7 months I actually could, that period between getting my inheritance and my step-kids RIFLING through what was left.... (NOT counting the over $5000 I spent on people who no longer speak to me) The MFC was out of stock in every store in North America!! 😢😢 (Pandemic time) Someday I'd like to try one.

Merci 🇨🇦
@TeriWilde
@TeriWilde 4 сағат бұрын

The bars..... I'd leave them. The SCANIA logo is a brushed silver look, and the bars tie in with that. Not forgetting rule #1 - it's YOUR Truck. If you want to black out the whole lot, that's your choice. But, I think that splash of silver, top an bottom, framing the logo in the middle, looks good.

if it shuts down when you move the steering then the issue would be the servo. the MFC do not like HV, Hi-Torque and very cheap servos, I always use a standard 4.5kg Futaba servo such as the S3003 or the newer Futaba S-U300.

Hi Teri, I also have an AC / DC charger, bought also with the concept of using the car cigar charger, but I then had second thoughts regarding the power consumption through the car wiring and the possible overload to the car loom cables. Any thoughts or tests carried out on actual consumption whilst charging and the effects on the car wiring system. I am a bit anxious to overload the wiring in the loom which cannot be seen of course. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Currently I have not used that charging opportunity.
