I have been building plastic model kits on and off since I was about 7. I’m 45 now. I can tell you you are a master model builder at a competition level. My Lord you do exquisite work. Thank you for showing us your skills. People who don’t build models might not understand just what a master craftsman you are. You’ve given me much to think about to improve my skills. Thank you so much, this was a true pleasure to watch!

I'm a modeler as well and I have this Tamiya kit but I haven't built it yet. There's a lot more to this hobby than some viewers see. It's very tedious and requires unhurried patients. Sometimes we blow a paint job and start over. Polishing a paint job alone is more time than the airbrushing.Spray cans are faster but less controll of paint flow and drip runs can happen in the paint if you go too close. It's a real balancing act and this hobby is not easy! This guy knows his stuff!

You build with the precision of a surgeon! Didn't know this kit had such fine details on its exterior panels.

I see you did some research because I noticed that you carved out all the vents correctly and didn't touch the fake vents like on the real car. Great attention to detail!
@mokeipaint3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Before building the kit, we analyze it with photos of the actual vehicle. I will also show the vents in future works. Thank you very much!

This is a legend, beautiful kit, Supra is my favorite.
Beautiful build! What color red did you use on the interior and also what black for the seats?
@mokeipaint10 ай бұрын
Thank you. The red color I used is a mixture of Mr. Color's red, maroon, flat black, flat white, and flat base. The black part of the sheet uses Japanese painting pigments. Pigments come in a variety of colors and can be purchased at art supply stores.

@@mokeipaint the seats look like maybe a rubber black. Thats why im asking. I like tbe way they turnes out. Do you remember what painting pigment you used?
@mokeipaint10 ай бұрын
@@fatheadfpv5732 I used Japanese painting pigments. Other videos on this channel show scenes of painting using this pigment.
Superb video! I`m your new fan!) How did you make such realistic rust on the muffler?
@mokeipaint2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much. The welds on the muffler are painted clear brown, clear blue, and flat black. The clear brown and clear blue are mixed with flat base.

Impressive work!!!! What kind of glue you use to assembly the parts???
@mokeipaint3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It is a rubber adhesive. Since it does not melt the plastic, it can be peeled off even if you make a mistake.

@@mokeipaint thanks for your answer, can you show me a picture or the brand of the glue, I always had that issue when the part is painted and the glue attacks the paint

Made in Japan, it is "Bond G Clear". Used for leather shoes, cloth and synthetic rubber. As it is transparent, it can also be used for clear parts.
