There will be a lot of bling bling parts on that buggy, love it.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mattias. Yeah, over time. Step by step. Gonna test the brushed silver and black cans without too much bling bling though first.

The blue looks great on that buggy! I'm excited following along with your project, just waiting for the dust to be cleaned off the roads, I'll get my DualRidge out for a spin, too! Happy hobbydays, dude!

Happy holidays, my friend! Thank you! Yeah, always fun with some blue bling bling I think. Uhh, yeah, today we had a little snow blizzard. Looks like spring must wait a little. Happy holidays.

Always wondered what the weight difference was between plastic and metal parts, and now I know !! Cheers, good vid as always 😁
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, not the most accurate weight, but a good example of how even light weight aluminium can weigh twice as much as plastic.. thank you for watching and the comment, John.

The new blue alloy parts certainly look good, especially against the silver and blue paint scheme of the buggy! Nice one, mate! :O)

Hi Mark! Yeah, love when decals and parts match in color 🙂 Thanks, mate.

These parts look the absolute business Mikael. Might investigate them next time I break something. Many thanks for the vid. Best wishes to you my friend :-)

Many thanks for watching, Pete. Feels great to be back doing my usual video style only here and only uploading when I feel like it 🙂 Feels like returning to the core of the hobby. Best wishes my friend.

I'm sure you can get metal drive cups too.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
You can get everything in metal, apart from the chassis itself.

When will the next speed run of your Dual Ridge speed project occur? Btw, it is Easter Sunday.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick. Gonna upgrade a few things more, then I will start to speed test basic motor and gear ratio options. Just did a speed test on the other channel after the ball bearings was installed.
@bradkalman23533 жыл бұрын
The plastic one is longer.

This whole setup that you're doing looks like it's taking some width away from the vehicle.
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Hmm not sure what you mean? It’s the same outdrives, drive shafts (dogbones) and wheel axles and they still fit perfectly. If it was narrower or wider now they wouldn’t fit anymore.
@bradkalman23533 жыл бұрын
@@NordicRC the hubs that you replace that were plastic the plastic ones look longer that's why I said that when you put him against the aluminum they looked longer.
