Thanks for posting this video! I only had a Grasshopper when I was a kid and I’m getting back into this now, 40 freakin years later! My Dad’s nickname was Wild Willie AND we both loved Ford trucks and Broncos from the early 90’s. So I’m definitely gonna buy one of these now in memory of my crazy badass Dad!!!! I have an old Harley named after him. Now I’ll run this in memory of him when I can’t ride the Harley that’s named after him! Pretty cool!!! Thanks a ton for posting this!!!

The car really looks great with those wheels and tires ! The stock ones are just a bit too big. Thank you again for showing this amazing WW2! Stay safe, all the best from Norway, Toby

Great job! The Willy looks amazing, I've always wanted one for years. I'm going to get one now since I recently got back into rc's. Excellent vid by the way!

Looks lo a fun indeed! Do you think wider spaced (rear-) tires could give it more stabilty without losing wheelie-action?

You know there is an Avante comical buggy and it's four wheel drive from Tamiya that they now makes.

Could be a cool comical crawler body imo.

I've seen people make custom chassis to make it a scale crawler.. It's a fun idea!

How did you fit Barrage Doomsday wheels on a 2wd wild Willy?
@chibiskyrc4 жыл бұрын
They're all the same offset and all 12 mm hex drives. Also this isn't a standard WWII, it's a Comical Hornet which is basically the same but has hexes for the front instead of shafts
@MikeLouie_TKD4 жыл бұрын
@@chibiskyrc Ah! I just looked up the Comical Hornet and never knew the lower suspension, steering and axles were different. Now I see the light. Thanks for the help.

And by the way please no shelf Queens.
@chibiskyrc4 жыл бұрын
Everyone enjoys the hobby as they wish but I personally dont believe in shelf queens. No point of an RC if it's not driven imo! Even my few "shelf queens" have minor scratches because they're run just the same

Driving these rc's on concrete isnt ideal. They shine on loose dirt
