That bigger wing should provide a bit more downforce which is always a good thing as it prolongs the front wishbones,like the wing trimming also it will probably reduce damage in a roll over because only the edge of the fins will contact the ground

Got a df03 myself in red looks great. Just fit a slipper and sport tuned motor and about to try my first lipo battery on it. Great buggies but decent hop ups are non existent!

I got a used one of these on eBay and the spur gear assembly was sitting crooked. Looked like it was damaged from too much torque in the drivetrain. Turns out that the stock car doesn’t come with a slipper clutch! It’s a hop up part. Fortunately, the slipper clutch upgrade comes with the pin that was bent so I was able to get that sorted out, however, that’s not the only issue I have. The turning radius is horrible. I put a longer servo horn on to get more steering throw but the problem seems to be due to the fact that the front end is extremely light. The wheels turn but they aren’t grabbing the ground enough to turn the car. I literally have to slow down to make a turn because it’ll continue to push forward. Hopefully you don’t have these issues. The upgrades you made might help keep the front down.

beautiful but.... please sand the rough cut edges and the r clips, bend the loop bit up so they're not flat. makes removing so so so much easier :D

I now want a buggy. Looking at the Dark impact BUT then see the Top force. I intend to run it on a "cheapish" BL Absima combo. What would you go for? Also on your build I could not see if you need bearing upgrade set? Thanks

Gary Murphy Hey Gary, Well I’m completely biased towards the Top Force, I honestly think it’s perfect in every way 😍 I believe it doesn’t come with a bearing kit which is a must. The only other thing you must get for it is a alloy motor mount, very cheap but there a must have. Apart from that the thing is awesome straight out the box 😊👊🏻
