Them steering arms are such an improvement over stock especially on the 02. Not all my blingy bits give a performance upgrade but I do love those. I left all the steering/camber turnbuckels off mine. I know you've got other kits with them on. Do you have a way to set them up or do you just eyeball it? I'd be cool to seena setup vid if you don't already have one.

The kit for the 02 had bearing in the swing arms. Thats silly to have a plastic bushing in them the low friction bearings are what makes them so awesome

FreddyBoomBoom's Channel 1985 Thanks buddy 😊👊🏻 Yeah your right I won’t know for sure until it’s build with the shell on 😬 Regarding set up, I do it by feel tbh, which I know isn’t the best method lol, but it’s good enough for the running I do. When I was into racing 1/10 touring cars, I use to have all the set up gear, that was next level stuff 🤩👊🏻

Keep the Yeah-Racing brake-disks with the white-wheels, regardless of which car they're put on. The chrome-wheels don't show the brake-disks off, well enough, and actually hide them quite a bit. I have painted standard Tamiya disks, in silver, to a similar effect, which would be a good solution here also.

Nice one, my friend. Bling TT-01 sure looking bling now. Nice! Maybe one can get gear boxes carved out in diamond? Would look cool :-) Nah, seriously, I love these projects. Keep 'em coming bro. Great with the chassis and the other parts. Good fit. If you need more height on those battery mounts when the carbon stay arrives, could a few aluminium spacers help? If it doesn't destroy the looks, that is.

Thin spoke! I think you could invest in a set of specialized tools to create exactly what you need + an airbrush, thread taps etc. I was never happy with the way the body shells mounted with split pins and I changed to either plates screwed to the inside of the polycarbonate with Velcro or small screws with flat heads tapped into the post with washers

Another cracking video glenn 👍👍👍 A man after my own heart. You do all the stuff i should be doing but cant be arsed most of the time. I have the discs and calipers fitted to a nearly 20yr old TG10 chassis and they look superb. The calipers i have are mounted to the hub where the outer bearing goes and then you fit a smaller OD bearing in the caliper mount. To stop the caliper rotating a long'ish' set screw is screwed from the calper bracket to the plastic upright. The calipers are stamped 'brembo' in white lettering. They really do look super cool. My advice would be - do whatever it takes to get them on the car, they really are the cherry on top 👍👍👍👍👍 I've grabbed your e-mail from your channel, i'll try and send you some pictures if it'll help.

use the 10 spokes, they look better:-) you should also consider scratchbuilding some calipers for the discbrakes. im thinking evergreen styreen sheet (it glues fantastic with tamiya super thin liquid cement) the only engineering would be to make a bracket to attatch to the hubs so the calipers dont move while driving. you can almost make anything with evergreen (im not sponsored btw:-))

It has a triangle and oblong shape pattern to them.. they were around $20aud.. there are huge amounts of designs.. there are also ones that might blow up the budget.. at around 60 for a pair . Spider like in design.. So see ebay/aliexpress.. if as i watch your wheel attaching issue..

Jessica Latex Yeah I’ve looked at them, but I’ve decided to get it built and I get the shell fitted first, I’ve now discovered that the wheel off sets are a problem 😞 Thanks for watching 👊🏻

It's a shame about those two piece wheels. The ten spoke should definitely go on the TA05R speed run car tho (They're lighter, so less rotational mass). I know this hobby gets expensive as it is, but you can always add some aluminum rims :) (They're are nice sets on eBay for cheap, in a bunch of different styles and tire patterns). Looking forward to the rest of the build, and seeing it completed!
