John wouldn't have had priority after Extra milled, unless Extra was trying to do something and John had responded. Unsure Extra would have cast something from the yard with his commander still out at that point.

The mill happens in upkeep. So after resolution priority needs to be passed around the table in order to get to the draw step and then to the main. If the mill was in the main, then your statement would be correct.

@@TheEditingMage Fair. Since Extra acted immediately after and no during/after upkeep statements, I had made the assumption it was main since the mill had completed.

There are generally 2 types of commander videos: 1. What I call "podcast" commander: That is when the people chat amongst each other about the game and the plays. For example: Commnad Zone, Shuffle Up and Play, Spike Feeders ect. 2. Gameplay with a voiceover. This is the way I make videos and you also have others like Muddstah, Playing with Power, SmoothBrainEDH. We play in person so we have a phone over the table connected to a pole, alongside 2 lights to prevent shadows. As for what to play, I would recommend building the newest commanders at the start since most people will find you from search at the start. That would probably be all you need to start off, but feel free to message me if you need some more help. You can also message others on Discord since they tend to give helpful feedback (but it does depend on the person you are messaging).

I am so tired of channels that have hour long games, where 45 minutes of the video is just them being annoying, laughing excessively, talking well beyond the point of friendly banter etc. I literally can only watch The Editing Mage, Smooth Brain EDH and MTG Mudstah now because these are the only channels that just post the gameplay and get to the damn point.

You should try Mostly Casual Commander, they're hilarious but their video are 15 min, they are the BEST channel out there by far

Play To Win is pretty good too. They do cut away to talk, but it's always about the game and it's nice hearing what they're thinking about when they play. They're vids are about 15-20 mins
