A thank you is not enough for all of the time you have spend explaining these recipes, techniques, and products. I have learned so much from watching your channel. I think I'm finally ready to jump in with both feet and try acrylic pouring myself. I am looking forward to your auction and the great switcheroo. I truly hope you enjoy your trip to Belize. 🌴🍹🎨 You so deserve it!! Sending much love to you.

Hi Tammy! As someone who is interested in pouring, has never done it yet and knows nothing about it, I appreciate the time you have spent to share your skills! I am enjoying this video series quite a lot. One thing I would love to see at some point is a video on cleaning up after a pouring session. I haven't searched that yet, so I don't know if there already videos out there on this topic but I haven't run across any yet. Again, thanks for sharing your skills with those of us who need more information, specifically me!

Beautiful dutch pour. Thank you for your time to teach us. I have one question: in your video no. 1 of your recipe series, you are using Liquitex pouring medium with paint and floetrol and in this video, you are only using paint, floetrol and water. So when do you use Liquitex P.M. or can you always use Liquitex P.M. in all recipes? Thanks

@michellenordberg27473 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this series!!! You're amazing. Questions: 1) for Dutch, do you prefer water only or with floetrol, 2) you didn't add more white to blow over your colors first, are there reasons for or against this? Much appreciated
@auntielu43943 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tammy. I’ve been experimenting and I realized that I can just mix the paint with the floetrol and store it in my bottles, and then when I want to do a Dutch pour, I can squeeze that paint/floetrol mix into a cup and then add water to the cup to get it to the right consistency that I need. This will make it easier to refill the bottles (paint/floetrol) so that I don’t wind up with a bottle that becomes inconsistent. Save the water for when you are actually going to do a pour. Does that make sense? ❤️

I want to make a reverse pour on glass. Do you have any suggestions? I haven’t come up with the products I want to use yet.
@tammyandersonart3 жыл бұрын
Yes for that I would use actual pouring medium. Liquitex gloss pouring medium. When pouring in glass thats the best and it dries with a nice sheen too it. So.i would thin all your paints down with that.
@ms_chigger3 жыл бұрын
@@tammyandersonart thank you. It is for glass back splashes mounted with the glass outward. No grout or grooves to clean & glass is easy to clean. Thank you so much. I’m watching your vid & I’m learning so much!

Hi Tammy I was just wondering if you can tell me a good metallic paint that would work well with teals ? I’m sorry to ask you thank you so much
@peterbentley99803 жыл бұрын
Hi Tammy I brought liquitex pouring medium gloss do I need to add water with this before mixing with paint I've also brought owatrol floetrol now I've not used Eva yet but I was was wondering if I was to pour liquitex into a cup and owatrol into another cup if I was to pour water in with the owatrol untill it had the same consistency as the liquitex had I could then use the owatrol as a pouring medium with the paint hope I've made senice in this question and one other thing if I mix the owatrol with water then strain it do you think this would be better than just straining the owarrol first again many thanks and would love to hear your thought on this Thank you Peter Bentley
@tammyandersonart3 жыл бұрын
Ok so here is a simple answer for all.of your questions . If you want to use the owatrol for anything strain it first then add it to your paint, stir and then add water if you need your colors to be thinner. If they are OK without the water then don't use water. If you want to liquitex again use it the same as the owatrol. No need to strain it just add some to your paint and if it's still too thick add some water to it. You can actually use both together also. To do that make a cup of pouring medium by filling the cup half way with owatrol, then add 25 percent of the liquitex pouring medium to it. Stir together and your done. Now you have your own pouring medium that you add to your colors and if they need to be thinner add water. Again water is not mandatory unless you need your paints to be thinner and the pouring medium just doesn't thin it enough

well tammy i don’t know if my paints in my bottles are too old or were mixed a hot mess way back when (i wanted to use up some older stuff and free up some bottles ) or if the cheap white paint which is all i have for a white base right now or my craptastic hair drier even though it’s new and. wouldn’t hardly blow paint on HIGH (my smallest leaf blower blows harder) anyway it’s an epic fail i’d love to show you
