I've been doing acrylic painting after I woke up and found my only daughter passed away at my bedside. I was deeply depressed and had lost all will to live. I was watching KZbin videos and I happened across people pouring acrylic paint! I thought, wow, I can do that, so I started painting, without realizing the therapy I was going to get. After I had been pouring for a few months, I noticed my depression wasn't as bad. She's been gone 5 years now, and I thank God I found pouring!

I too have had an art background most of my life! I have painted furniture, walls, and glassware…. Plus pottery and sculpting along with woodworking and zen tangle!! I have 44 years at it and a family full of artists! Soooo you would think I could catch on and master this form too…. Well this has been the biggest challenge for me! I love art and agree art is soooo good and necessary for our souls! I am determined not to give up either! I had just recently lost my youngest son this past June(2020)at the age of 29 to an agonizing and debilitating cancer (colon cancer). I completely understand the stress and anxiety of what you are going through. I was laid off the end of March due to Covid. I’m still looking for the right opportunity. Plus it’s hard to work when I can barely walk due to bad arthritis and bone on bone in my knee. I just got health insurance and I’m going to arthritis and joint specialist this week. I’m so thankful for these videos and being able to create my own art. It would be nice to sell some of them to help with medical bills and etc. I’m also thankful that my husband is still working and has been. However, living on one income is challenging. Hoping 2021 turns around and helps provide for all of us. We need more peace and happiness not hate because everyone’s life matters.

I have also suffered with chronic pain for over 30 years, so I know where you are coming from. I am sorry to hear that you have had a difficult time, especially with your cats.
