This video honestly made me tear up. Tammy, I consider you one of my best “KZbin friends” I can’t wait to see where life takes you and your art! Looking forward to when your shop opens again so I can snag myself a cute desk friend. I am about to celebrate 3 years of doing art/design as my full time income. To anyone reading this. Just start drawing/creating, put your stuff out there, and don’t give up. ❤

Thank you Tammy. I've been lost. I've loved art since I was a little kid, I would spend hours just to create. I'm 19 this year, lost with my studies. Hearing you say "what's the point of it all" really resonated with me. One day, I know for sure, I will succeed as a creative, as someone who has dreams to start her own small art business.

I'm a freelance writer, but I had to pick up a part-time job this year because things got rocky. Today I put in my two weeks' notice at the part-time job to get back to writing full-time. Though I work with words, it's an art form that brings me so much joy, even when the work itself isn't that creative at times. To hear "it's time to be an artist" on the day I put in my notice...I'm a little teary! Congrats to you on everything you've accomplished, btw, and thank you for this timely video.

I can't stress to you enough how perfect this video was in timing for me and my life. at the moment, I'm working multiple jobs while uploading videos & making art on the side, and I resonated so much to what you've shared about your upbringing and past -- my single parent is an immigrant also. Your energy and wisdom is beautiful, inspiring, and so candidly captured in this video. This made me feel so much better...Just the inspiration to maybe start trying. I'm older than you are, and was told my entire life that art isn't a career. I had a break down at my cooperate job today, because I don't fit in it. I can't necessarily quit it yet, but maybe I can also try a little bit to make something comfy on the side for myself that does bring me joy.

No matter how hard and stressful all of the pressures of social media and money that come with being an artist it truly brings me deep fulfillment. Like nothing else ever has… You really said it so eloquently too. I have a lot of personal connections to art and it always makes me emotional to watch something like this and really reminds me why I quit my job to peruse the unknown… I just have a feeling it will all be worth it. Thank you so much for the reminder! 😭❤
