I have really bad obsessive compulsive disorder and really bad anxiety, and I noticed that tedious and repetitive tasks make me feel better, because it satisfies the OCD in me and it preoccupies my mind fully. Before I know it, I feel in the zone. Everything else melts away. Nothing else matters. There’s something so calming about it.

As someone who lives close to Weimar (where the Bauhaus university is) I was confused for a moment why you are putting up the Bauhaus logo 😂 but I get it. The new setup looks very nice! I often wondered if it would be better to put up my desk directly at the window (like you had) but seeing how it was stressful for your eyes I am glad I did not do that. My desk is on the right hand side of the window though since I am right-handed and I don’t want my dominant hand casting a shadow while I am working.

My husband realized before I did that I needed to move my desk for the same reason. I moved to a wall at the same side of my living room. It makes a HUGE difference. I was shading my eyes to look at my computer. Now I don't need to do that.
