I'm impressed that you present the entire video without chop cuts, or seemingly any edits at all. Well done!

Hi, Tammy. I've been curious about something for a while, and I wanted to get your take on it, and this may be the best video to ask this question on. So, lets say an employer posts a job opening, and you want to apply for the position. So, in the job posting, it says "No experience necessary." Then, when it's time for the interview, the employer says, "Tell me about yourself." I was thinking it would better help the employer and the applicant if the wording went more like this: "No industry experience necessary," and, "Tell me about your work history." Because, I remember, in the past, thinking that the "Tell me about yourself" question sounded like they wanted a bio, when they actually want to hear about your work history. And also, it seems that even if an employer really requires no experience, it's more like they just don't require experience in that particular field, but they do still require some kind of work experience, in general, in that, they expect to see some kind of work history on the applicant's resume, at all, and the employer is hoping it says "Till present." Whether the experience is in that particular field or not. They want someone who at least has some work experience, and more than one year worth. So, I was thinking the wording would help both parties if it were stated differently, when posting or asking. I was wondering what you thought about this. Also, on a separate point, and one that's more closely what you spoke on in this video, there was also a second question I had. I once heard that some farm owners in California only hire people who immigrated from Mexico, because most Americans refuse to do the work, and they know that those from Mexico will do the work. If we're an American who wants that particular job, but the owner of the farm only wants to hire someone from elsewhere, what type of question do we ask that employer to "break the ice," and show him that we really are willing to do the job? (This could be true for other jobs as well, but I know about the California farm thing, so that's why I put it that way). What do we say to the employer if the employer only wants people from a certain area? Because, there was also once a McDonald's in a suburb in my area that basically wanted the same thing. They were only seeking to hire those who lived in said suburb that the McDonald's was located in, when it was first being built, and when it finally opened, they had hired a total of 100 people, but 98 of the workers lived in that particular suburb. At the time, it was a brand new McDonald's location. How does the applicant approach the hiring process when this happens? Thanks for your response.

Your videos are great. My only suggestion is to keep each video to within 10 minutes; preferably 8 mins. You will get more hits. Great content. Keep it up.
