No. Doubt directional can display on screen as the wires do not interact with controller. turn signal switch wired to rear taillight and do not go thru controller

Ridstar is faster and motor is torquer than Tamobyke v20. Make sure to 20ah 1500w version of Ridstar Q20 the 15Ah version is not worth the $100 savings

Yes change handlebars to taller handlebars or taller stem risers

We got ours and had to do the same thing, all of the cables came undone when we tried to put the handle bar on, took it all apart and moved the cable, looking at the front WHY did they NOT run it through the hole below the handlebars. Thanks so much for the video, the directions are horrible!

Turn bike off remove battery and reinstall and turn on bike. If code does not clear disconnect motor wire harness to controller (connector on right side of rear wheel and then reconnect firmly… turn on bike. If error code persists then contact Tamobyke for new motor

I'm not sure why, but whenever I attempt to configure P 06, I encounter an E20 error on the screen. Additionally, P03 doesn't seem to save even when I press + and - together. Can you help me? Do you have any advice? 😢

Its a code menu the factory code is always 1111 then u get change the settings of P03 00 is MAX 3 modes ansd if u put P03 01 it has 5 modes

E20 is trotthle error *Drive Mode setting. This setting could come in very handy. This P setting allows you to turn off the throttle completely. 00 = driven by PAS. The throttle is useless at this time. Use this option if you just want pedal assist and NO throttle. 01 = driven by Throttle. PAS is useless at this time. If you do not need PAS, then use this option. 02 = driven by both PAS & Throttle. The throttle is useless at Zero Start status. Both throttle and Pedal Assit are active.*

Yes, Ridstar Q20 is faster and has better range, buy make sure to buy 20Ah version, the 15Ah version is not worth buying

Mistake I made was cross threading one bolt on handlebar mounting bracket, so be very careful to hard start and lightly turn each four bolts - may need help with additional person holding handlebar in place to keep bracket from going crooked and causing a bolt to angle.

After repairing the thread I decided to leave the bracket off the stem and put it around the handlebar directly instead to be safe. There’s enough slack in wiring to just slide the handlebars over the stem with the bracket already cliched onto them. Going for my first ride now!

Btw what you did with p03 you have to put in a code to unlock that speed stuf but the code is most of the time 1111 so you didnt change the speed
