Evans not practicing does not worry me at all. We don't play until Monday. It is not unusual for a player in his 30s to take an early practice off to rest. As for hitting 1k yards. We still play the falcons again and the Panthers twice. It is way too early in the season to freak out about that.

Todd says...with Evans , this is a nagging calf sprain injury like forever, we've seen it before , he walked off ...with home rest and therapy and this long week because of Mon.night game he should be good to go...he's a vet , so I believe practice may not be necessary. he knows his rout tree...

Mike hurts him hamstring every year. We know that. If he’s got a chance to make it worse, I say sit him and let him heal for another week so that we get the healthy evans next week. Mike plays through injuries every year though. Would love to have him against Baltimore but if he’s just gonna be going half speed as a decoy, then let him sit and heal. We’re gonna need him in much more important games later on. Baltimore isn’t even in the nfc at all. Much. More important to win nfc games and nfc south games in particular. We gotta have him back before the Atlanta game though

If we don’t stop playing prevent all day long and let teams pass all over us we are going to have a tough time. Last week was laughable really. The win was satisfying but blowing a 17-0 lead the way they did wont work against these tough teams coming up. Saints defense sucks. You can have all the weapons on offense but defense is what wins games. Playing from behind sucks even with guys Like Evans and Godwin. Even though saints suck that run game looked fierce by the Bucs. That was impressive. Baker needs to tighten up some too. He should have at least 3 more interceptions this year. He has been lucky. Our kicker is rock solid. Go Bucs!!!!

At first I tonight you said Zyon not Jalen. I was about to go off and say he already has 2 picks this year! But ya Jalen will get ur together. He’ll have a breakout game when the injuries dusty to pile up and we have to put him in. Trey Palmer also has the potential, he’s fast as lightning.
