Living in Sun City West, AZ since 1998. Golf carts driven on the streets since I moved here and I believe from the late 70's or earlier 80's. They must have a licence plate and driven on streets with a 35 mph or less speed limit. They may be driven any time day or night. As well the driver must be licensed to drive a vehicle, no children allowed to drive. Number of people in cart cannot exceed stated seating capacity of vehicle. No riding while sitting on a persons lap.

@@Tampa2Enjoy please rewatch your video again. You said in it in so many words sun city center was the only place you know of in the U.S. you could drive golf cars on the street. Well now you that's not so.

@@Tampa2Enjoy If the "they" you are referring to is the info office in sun city center you must know "they" are not very reliable. I made an inquiry to the center's office last year to get info about their community. I provided a specific list of information as we are contemplating a move to that area and possibly sun city center itself. Never seen anything for several months then I received a phone call from them. The person said they found my name, phone number and email address on a piece of paper and wanted to know how they could help. Went through everything again with a detailed list of questions. Ask if they could supply that info or at least as much as they could. They said they could. What I received was a two page advertising blurb answering virtually nothing of what I ask. So we basically gave up on that thought if that was the competence level of the people who work there. I know it is mostly volunteer help but that is no excuse for incompetence.
