Nice lens! I bought it 2 weeks ago. I have the C1 button on Clear Zoom so I can instantly punch in to 35-100mm which makes this lens even MORE VERSATILE!! 📸

Thanks for the video, Jay P. I really, REALLY hope that Tamron can bring this lens - and all their others - to L Mount. There isn't an L-Mount ultrawide lens with LENS stabilization, and ultrawide lenses with in-lens stabilization can drastically reduce corner warping when shooting video at the wide end. And Tarmon has a good reputation for excellent in-lens stabilization. Right now, on my Panasonic S5 and S1, I still use Canon EF lenses (EF 16-35 f/4 L IS and the EF-S 10-18 STM IS) as they offer lens stabilization that is REALLY GOOD at reducing corner warping when shooting ultrawide video. Oh, one other thing. You MIGHT want to add the words "full frame" to the title of this video, just because I remember older Sigma and Tamron 17-50mm APS-C lenses from back in the day, and we wouldn't want people to think that this is just a rehashed aps-c lens from days of yore.

17-28 f2.8 and the 28-75 f2.8 from Tamron would make an incredible pair. I have the 17-28 Tamron, nice and sharp. Also have the Sony 20-70, a very nice compact and lightweight lens. Therre are too many zooms that do ultrawide/wide to normal/slight telephoto. I think I should have purchased the Tamron 28-75 f2.8, but it is too late now. I'm very happy with both lenses.

Wow, Tamron is on a roll. They have it well covered for Sony and other cameras. I wonder if there is a little Sony in each Tamron since Sony owns a 14% stake in Tamron.

@17mm, this lens is just hopeless. ugly distortion, no sharpness to speak of even stop down.
