Tanchjim Tanya DSP Review & Comparisons

I got my Tanya DSP from Red Ape Audiophile in May last year, three weeks before your review. The intent on Tanya is for my long gaming hours as it's light, small & comfortable. The build quality & tuning is really value for money & my ears are almost yours. Yeah, I can't stop listening to EDM with it when I'm not gaming. Also Enya, Keisha Levronka & Yao Si Ting sound heavenly. Thank you for your take, subbed.

Love my Tanya DSP more than the Zero DSP. Zero has a bit too much treble and sparkle for me that it sounds too sharp. My ears likely are too sensitive to higher frequency, probably. I do like bass a bit more, not too much, but enough to feel it. Solid review!

Great review! I think at that price/ performance ratio you really can't go wrong. It's a a compact and uncomplicated set for everyday use.

Different type of bassy, Harman curve bass focus on Sub Bass a bit more pronounced

When it comes to imaging, and footsteps pickup is the tanya suitable for gaming? Can they handle complex passages?

I am afraid for positional precision tracking Tanya DSP is fair at best, it does well with ambient immersion factor but for TPP or FPP gaming it lacked that sharpness of imaging. I would say Tanchjim ZERO does it better on this one

DSP based IEMs are different from normal IEMs or dongles, so I can't quite pin down the individual grading for them yet

Yesterday I was comparing the OG zero to the sennheiser HD58X, I was blown away how similar the detail retrieval was and the way they separated sounds within the soundstage. Even the style of the tuning was similar-ish. Its obvious that the tanchjim is using some quality drivers even in those crazy cheap iems. Zero employs some composite diaphram with DMT4 architecture and in the case of the tany DSP it should be PEEK driver. I am curious if the driver in the tanchjim one will be PEEK also.
