I came across your video in the afternoon and later prepared this for dinner for my friends(fellow Zimbabweans, Nigerians and Filipino) last night. I put it in the oven though, after marinating for 9hrs. It turned out awesome and my friends were raving about it. How i wish i could share the picture. It obviously won't taste like Tandoori chicken. How can it with just turmeric and chilli powder. This recipe may be a joke on us. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHnMgaB3gZiLpqc I got the exact tandoori taste with the above recipe. My recipe is a mix of Varun and Rimli and Vah chef, like below: For 1/2 kg chicken, marinate with 1/2 TSP turmeric, 2 TSP salt, 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 TSP garam masala and 1 TSP chicken tandoori masala, 3 tbsp hung curd and 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Leave in fridge for 1 hour or so. The more the better. Then follow Rimli or if you have an oven, put it in for 30 minutes at 210 degrees centigrade. Take it out and roast on high flame to get charred effect. Put in oven for 30 minutes

Hi Varun ! I had seen many food recipe related videos, when I'm in a mood to try something different but the way you presented it makes it seem so simple We always used to buy tandoori chicken from outside but today I'm going to try it at home and if it comes out well, its a total goodbye to outside tandoori chicken for ever because your recipe seems to be mouth watering and doesn't seem to take much of cooking time. I don't actually enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen but after watching your video, I would definitely like to try my hand on it . We have a freaky appetite for such delicious non-veg dishes. Thanks once again ! Keep posting ! God Bless !
