In the middle of last year I bought the almost identical watch under the San Martin brand name. I'm pretty sure it comes from the same factory but this Tandorio is significantly cheaper. I did also experience the watch as comfortable and I think the crystal is the star of the show here. It's distortion nicely interacts with the dial. Nice review! 👏

..... I have two San Martin sterile versions of this , in grey and in black .... what really sets the San Martin apart from the Tandorio is the satin finish hand set , a superb detail ... oh and the stunning San Martin strap ........ but it is more expensive , if you value budgetary considerations over quality and aesthetics then the Tandorio seems a good option ......... either way the case style is superb to wear , there will always be those who hate the case but you can't please everyone .....

Got a grey dial of these but from San Martin (bought it on a special so I didn't pay san martin money, so worthwhile) popped it in a Vostok mesh bracelet I had lying around and it's close to my favourite watch. I'm on this video because I like it so much that I'm considering buying a black dial version Submariner version as well.

Bit late to the party I know but bought this with black sterile dial over the summer. Put it on a detroit mint black leather bund strap and works a treat on my 7.25" wrist. Certainly up there as one of my favourite and regulars in a 50+ collection ( just can't get round to selling any 😉👍 ) . Thanks for the vid.

🇫🇷 Tandorio are certainly the current quality/price watches (cheapest) with a NH35 or even NH34 inside 👍 i'm confident in repairing / adjusting them and buying non-working "fried" ones too 🍟🍳🧑‍🍳

Must admit, I've been humming and hawwing about this lovely timepiece, but I already have 3 Tandorio's, and haven't pulled the triger, because of the Luminescence and maybe the flat lug configuration. Very good review. Thanks very much. JANBOY. Thailand.

they do seem to make some fairly decent watches, i just wish they would do something about thier name. i just cant wear a watch with the name of my local curryhouse on the dial.😅

Fair point, feeling hungry every time you look at your watch probably isn’t the best idea!🤣🤣 Perhaps just the logo would work better. Still not the worst brand name out there though.

Great review! I recently ordered the San Martin version and just waiting for it to arrive. The SM is a bit pricier, but the dial, printing and lume looks to be better. This one looks grest for the price though. A really cool looking watch, can't wait for my SM to arrive!

Where did you get the orange strap from? I've built a couple of my own watches using the field watch cases they offer in their store. One a bronze case with a brown dial, absolutely stunning for the price point. I'm unsure about this case shape, but for the price it may be worth a try.

Great review. I picked up the San Martin version of the same watch with a grey dial and I love it. The unique case shape and the distortion of the crystal is quality on mine. Maybe a comparison video on them in the future 😉 Enjoy watch your content on KZbin keep up the great work.

Considering to get one, but with the leather strap same with california dial, it is cheaper by USD 70 compared to San Martin

I like the industrial look of the case. What I don't like and how I would change: The Mechanic movement I would change to care and wear free quartz, for something "good one". Dial: I hate California dial. I need Type B Flieger or even the more simple field watch style full set of Arabic numbers. The dial must be full lume dial with dark indexes and hands. Every "five minutes" would be written outside the train track (05, 10, 15, and so on), if it is not the Flieger Type B (which maybe would be too crowded on such a small watch?).

Looks nice but those lugs are ruining it, too flat and long, if they curve downward to follow the wrist shape this watch would wear much nicer

The lugs certainly are different! I had the exact same thoughts and reservations, but after wearing this one for a few days, I was surprised how comfortable it is!

I think those upward turned lugs would drive me nuts I don’t like the gaps it produces, I prefer a watch to mould to the shape of my wrist. Probably why I prefer a watch like the tactical frog over the Seestern, if for only that issue alone. I think if one had 8 or 9 inch wrists this would not be an issue.

mine arrived yesterday with a damaged lug, oversized lug holes, rounded edges. seller(tandorio official store) offered US$10 partial refund. unbelievable.

Wow, poor service! Try taking some pictures or video of the issues and send that to them. I would’ve thought either a full refund or a replacement watch is what’s needed here!
