This kind of sheath worried me on the grounds that there isn't a whole lot keeping the blade away from the stitches. Easy fix though, two strips of leather from an old belt to give it a welt. Glued in place with E6000 glue, then drilled the holes to match. Worked a treat. The instructions tell you to dye it before assembly if I recall right, but I actually had that cause a mismatch on the pre-drilled holes because dye drying shrinks it. Just a bit of a word of warning to anyone else looking up this project.
