Late comment but yeah I think Sonic Forces at the very least shows Eggman being put down is warranted. Its shown and referenced in that game and idw that people lost their lives during Eggman’s takeover, how many millions died throughout the world due to his expansion. Not only that if Silver and Sonic hadn’t gone Super Eggman’s virus would have led to the entire planet dissolving and everyone dying by the time of Silver’s time.

At least it also shows that friendships can help to overcome traumas, even if a little, it's good to let off steam with a friend

It has only just occurred to me, but the Diamond Cutters weren't killed off in a vague capacity such as a big explosion or something else... the Shadow Androids (which I don't remember having any capacity for ranged attacks aside from a few rockets) likely ripped through them or beat them to death. I never realised how brutal their last stand must have been, or how hopeless it must have seemed.

With his cunning and ability to take any form, and the fact that he whipped his data from the Eggnet, Mimic is still a grave threat not to underestimate. He’s more of an opportunist, but he was still able to escape Eggman’s grasp after the events of “The Bad Guys”. Mimic would’ve been the perfect culprit for The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. Considering it’s a murder mystery game, and he’s one deadly hitman.

I got to say the music of each moment is really good. In fact one of the music during Tangle and Whisper moments after the back story reminds me of the fan made Sonic Omens game music. Seeing the big significance Tangle had on Whisper in this mini series in helping her open up to others again, it makes what happened to Tangle in issue 24 much worse. Not only did the audience lose one of the best IDW Sonic characters temporarily in Tangle, Whisper basically had to repeat history with losing another friend. There is no wonder Whisper had a nervous breakdown in that issue, and would have probably have killed Eggman herself for costing her two groups of friends if not for Cream talking her out of it.

So, I'm late as hell to this, but right before the battle for Angel Island, Blaze questioned if Whisper could be trusted since virtually nothing was known about her. During this time, she and Shadow were in the same room. It was never pointed out, but Whisper was DEFINITELY mean mugging Shadow at the time. I trust I don't need to explain why.

one thing i love about Mimic's voice work in this is the fact when he's with the Diamond Cutters he has a slight British accent. but when he betrays them his voice is... his real voice, to me that shows that his words about the Diamond Cutters being "A means to a End" were true he was putting up an act and was pretending to be their friend and comrade..... Mimic is a sick and twisted induvial and this Comic Dub really illustrated that beautifully"

5:25 The way Mimic says that shows he kinda cares for Whisper a little. And In Tangle and Whisper 2, as Mimic Locked them inside with the bombs, when he said, "Rest in peace, Whisper.", the way he said that made me think he actually meant rest in peace. Like real peace. 5:51 "Eggman's goint to filet me alive!" That is so funny. I also really like Slinger's sorta Spanish (mixed with like a little bit of british) accent.

They didn’t seem like such a big deal because they were up against shadow and Omega. But to see normal-ish guys be ambushed by them, especially upon betrayal…Man she really lost a lot. 😔 When I saw her point of view I was afraid the base was going to explode, but this was somehow worse. I’ve *never* underestimated Eggman as a definition of evil. Sonic Archies helped with that, but with all the wins and hope Sonic brings (and the poor telling of Sonic Forces 🤦🏾‍♂️) it’s sometimes easy to…forget a little about how much of a villain all around he is. From large catastrophic world ending or concurring to minor-personal eliminations. Also, *dare* I say it, but is this making Sonic Forces…good?🧐………NAH. 😂 Just relevant. I just notice in tangle and whisper miniseries, mimic wasn't not plan of killing whisper. until eggman threatened mimic kill her, before do something horrible to him not doing his job.
