I bought the 1x6 and put it on my ZPAP M70 recently. It is a great optic. Great glass for the $260 price that I paid for. For me The illumination works great and can be found quickly with both eyes opened. Some of my gun friends that work at my local range shot it also and liked it a lot over a traditional red dot. That’s with and without illumination.

What barrel length is your BDC set for? Thanks for the share!!
@ACOGLMT5562 жыл бұрын
When I was younger, I asked trijicon a similar question. They basically told me that once you are sighted in the difference in drop for the barrels was minimal and that the BDC would work fine for whichever barrel length you are using. IF you need to be exactly precise while using the BDC then I recommend spending more then $500 on the optic lol and maybe something with more magnification.

Why push the BDC reticle on the civilian market. That's fine when your scope is match to a rifle in an issued loadout, but that optic calibrated for M855 out of a 16'' barrel with no suppressor at sea level won't do me much good with a 18'' barrel pushing 75gr's at 700ft. Or what about swapping over to 6mm Arc, 6.5 Grendel, .458 socom, 300 blk ect. Just give us the same reticle design in mil or moa, and leave the dope to us.
@jamesgarrison55463 жыл бұрын
You can figure out what the holds on your subtens are for your caliber/barrel length. Does it really matter if your 2nd subten is perfect at 200yards or 200 meters or 213 meters? They’re for guidance, not Biblical cannon.
@higgenbotham3 жыл бұрын
@@jamesgarrison5546 Not concerned with round measures of distance. Marks at 1, 2, 3, 4 moa are quicker and easier to use than 2.4, 5.6, 9.5, 14.5. To each their own.
@jamesgarrison55463 жыл бұрын
@@higgenbotham even MOA/mrad don’t have any intrinsic value unless you know what they mean to your specific barrel/ammunition combination. Neither is “faster” especially when discussing a 1-6 which aren’t for PRS type shooting. They’re ideal for combat range engagements. Get a milling reticle high magnification for your PRS gun. A 1-6 with BDC is for rough range estimations at close distances. You’re asking for a $5 adjustable wrench to also work as a torque wrench.
