Thank you for enriching my Argentine tango education once again. A closer embrace for unfamiliar followers is my favorite takeaway today in milonga.

Very nice video! Milonga has always felt difficult. However, one of my best experiences is when one of the ladies at a milonga lead me and I followed. It's a really fun dance when lead by someone that can lead. I wish more ladies would try leading, I believe we both benefit from it. Best Regards, Matthew

Indeed, the steps are basic one and this milonga (like each milonga, I guess) is all about the musicality, more than at tango. I wish, I could take part in your London september's event. If you have some 2023 springs plan, I am definitely be there (Europe mainland please :-) )

I watched your wonderful milonga dance after the webinar and registering for the full course! It's a pleasure to see Pablo interpreting the rhythm/music and Anne so engaged and connected. I learn so much from you two, and I think it really is because of your warm energetic presence for your students as well as because of your intimate knowledge of the music, the orchestras, and the 3 tango styles/rhythms. I feel blessed to learn from such gifted teachers.

Me encanta la forma que explican, muy fácil pero si pueden hacer paso a paso, este es el primer video que veo de ustedes y ¡ME ENCANTA!, pero en habla española, sería genial.

i just found the video and i liked it so much, both of you are very knwoledgable and i absolutely adore her french and his argentinian accents... but i'd also like to know about the musical differences on these styles, any suggestions?

Miro a los dos profes que explican y explican y explican y yo no entiendo Inglés. Soy de Argentina. Seria bueno que la clase sean con subtítulos.

Your explanations are very useful, important and interesting--- superficially subtle differences that only expert teachers know. Also, can you explain if and how hybrid combinations are same or different, such as the 2 or 3 milonga candombes, Afro-- separated partners. also embraced partners (music--- only 3 Uruguay tamboril drums and/ or Argentina s 2 ?? drums, and/or bands/orchestras, either older or current music styles? Do people use same dance for candombe milonga, " regular" ? more Euro milonga (music without tamboril drums or the ?? Argentine drums, or do people donsubtle differences for each style, "pure" or combination? .Muchissimas gracias. Buenas suerte. ... . What about tango candombe, etc other combinations? Argentina s, Uruguay s (and Brasil s ) early 20th century music song dance scenes are full of so many similar styles. How did composers, singer songwriters, dancers, etc distinguish among all of these?

Hola Ann & Pablo! Thanks so much for your excellent instruction! I have followed you for a while now. I have a personal question. If I may ask ? Are you married to each other ? I'm just curious. Thanks again! Tango On! :)

In tango you have some certainty of less rhythm changing. in Milonga Rhythm can change each moment. Milonga needs a lot of Fantasie.

I dance milonga with any fast music once I get bored with salsa, cha cha or Vienese waltz. Once the partnership is clear with the lead and follow, it becomes creative and truly fun to go thru rhythm changes and syncopations.
