1:50:16 Gem just said what most Canadians (and probably Americans) reproach to tourists. Don't expect to visit the US or Canada in 2 weeks with a car. It takes around 40 hours of driving to go from coast to coast without any stop. I went once to New Zealand and visited half of South Island in 3 weeks. You can't visit both New Zealand and Australia in two weeks.

You haven't lived 'til you you exit the door of your cabin to a wombat sniffling around just there, or have an echidna amble past at arm's length in front of your tent opening looking for a meal. Or woken up at 2am to a possum that is eating somebody's hard candies because it figured out how to open the cabin door (a standard lever handle that opens when pulled down on a door that naturally swings inward). The river idea! A way to get around the "Rats" (minecrart pick up) is to have the water fall from the ceiling down the side of the barn, then become "rapids" that the water flows across and down to the water elevator. The hermits playing the game have to jump up a block or 2 to throw the foodstuffs into the flowing water. You could still have walls above the rapids to stop people using that as a short cut from each side of the barn. If you start the "rapids" 2 -3 blocks above the ground, the water shouldn't get in the way of the minecarts and should be at ground as it hits the wall where there is no minecarts.
@stevenmachen3 ай бұрын
I can appreciate the extra attention to detail, but I don't have to talk about it lol. I definitely recognize the impact it has on your experience. Something like the pavement doesn't seem like it matters until you're there. The hermits that specialize in building demonstrate this all the time.
@rhinovirus16143 ай бұрын
Hey Tango- if you do ever want something under the floor like a dropper or something, obviously the rats can’t collect right there. You can maybe cover the floor there in ice and carpet/slabs so that it’s still very hard for hermits to have a safe spot on the floor, since the items slide somewhere that the rats can reach

If you're doing honey, you absolutely need to make aggro-bees a danger. Maybe put the hive in a tree with a target block and make them throw a snowball at it to drop honey, but it has to be from a distance and fill the area with bees. Then they have to run through the bees to retrieve the honey.
@SoapSurreal3 ай бұрын
Fun idea but bees die when they sting a player, so it would be difficult for Tango to maintain it
@dbseamz3 ай бұрын
I was thinking something along those lines, but only for spam proofing purposes. You don't want to punish players for getting honey the "right" way, but if they're impatient and click the honey button more than once, that angers the bees. Like soapie247 said, actual stinging bees might be hard to maintain, but maybe just playing an angry-bee-head noteblock and exposing a pufferfish in the floor for a short dose of Poison could get the point across.

The hopper minecart track underneath should be a mess, just like the snakes game so the sucking up of items is more random and unpredictable.
@zoe-maefaulkner1003 ай бұрын
I've been thinking this because players like Etho are going to learn the track and abuse it by throwing items after the minecart goes but before the next comes or just throw items in different spots

Milwaukee has become one of the biggest names in cordless power tools over the last decade or so... Personally I bought into the DeWalt ecosystem a couple decades ago when my makita finally died after nearly 2 decades of service. when my 12v Dewalt batteries died, I was looking at changing over to Milwaukee but my dad bought me a 20v DeWalt drill and a 20v to 12v adapter (note it is not a transformer, it feeds 20v to my 12v tools, but since they are not digital they are able to handle it), so I decided to stay in the DeWalt ecosystem... once you start buying in, there is no point in getting multiple brands as there is no standardization of batteries.

To me interactively in the game that feels a lot like how you handle the tray! otherwise 1 slot is the way to go. you do want players to walk a lot with their items. Optimising your paths and appliences is kinda the whole deal about plateup... I love what you are doing with the minecart sneakroute too! Makes a lot of sense in the 3D space of minecraft.
