She's an opera singer but in her theatre tours also sings quite a lot of rock. He mostly does musicals but i've also seen him perform for ten people in his mothers dance school and rocked the place out and with the most fantastic love songs and sang different kind of music in his own theatre concert show. He also played the lead in the dutch version of high school musical. And sang a really different variety of songs when he played the part of jesus in the passion. *live event every year in a different dutch city and the music is different songs sang in the dutch language. Every year different songs.

Well, Tommy was flooded by Taniya and he knew it from the start when you look at the whole episode. I think he made it a bit too difficult for himself by holding the microphone too far away.

The song name is Barcelona. I think for the 1988 Olympics. Sung by Freddy Mercury from Queen and Montserrat Caballe. She was an opera singer. Tommy is a musical singer and Tania an opera singer.

I love it when Tania Kross sings "Frankie Goes To Hollywood" song =The Power of Love. Tania knocks this song out of the park!! This lady is so talented & she seems like a fun person too, I wish her all the best for her musical career as well as more recognition & acknowledgement for her as an Artist, especially for someone of her musical caliber! The original was the opening song of the Olympics 1992 by Freddy Mercury (rock) and Montserrat Caballier (opera). Tommy Christiaan is a musical singer and well, Taniya well it is clear what she sings. Funnily enough she told in the show that when she came from the Dutch Antilles to the Netherlands, she was a Rock/Metal singer. When she applied for the Conservatorium (university for music arts), they said to her "you are a singer, but you cannot sing". But she was accepted anyway. What I like about both of them and also Floor Jansen, Maria Fiselier, Simone Simons and Henk Poort is that they all have as a philosophy to destroy the walls between styles of music and put a lot of work into making that happen. In my view that would even increase the versatility and thus the quality of the perfrormers!

Beste Zangers was filmed on the Spanish island of Ibiza, where this group stayed for 5 days to sing all the songs.

They stay there a few weeks for final rehearsals ( each separate from the others) and the show is then recorded in the last week with the duets as the season finale

Maan is not an opera singer. She never had classical training at all. Neither had Tommy. I do agree that opera singers have lifted it up a lot.
