This is the first time I could see myself using all the special shades and is very appealing to people who want an approachable neutral palette. I feel PMG collectors forget the brand needs mass appeal to consumers not just colour. I do wish the plum matte was a neutral brown or even a navy matte to go with the blue brown shade. Love your looks and I always wait for your reviews before purchasing.

I do agree that even though a lot of people want those bright colors ( which i think she should come out with, even if she doesn’t order that many palettes), most people wear a very neutral, basic, every day shadows and I think a palette like this will sell better because more people can use it!!

Dunno if you purchased it, but the plum shade is actually less saturated than it looks on photos. When it gets mixed with metallics they also “tame” it down and actually turn it into sort of purple or mauve that is very wearable. I was so surprised how much more wearable mates turned out to be than they look. especially on my weird skin tone, where deeper mates get too much very quickly. Very pretty, interesting and *wearable* palette

Love the looks you created! Beautiful! I saw on a tutorial- do not rub the special shades- gently pat on the shadow and touch on the eye and build up that way but do not rub the shadow as that is what creates the crumble and subsequent fallout. Perhaps you can try it! Keep up the good work!

I think you are right it does remind me a little bit of the huda one. This is a bit more cool tone and maybe grey.. rather than pink/mauve. The huda reminds me a lot of purple pinks even though they’re cool town but this does not have much pink in it except that one matte shade!

I love this palette and it’s my second PM mothership, after Divine rose 1, they pair nicely together. The two rosy tones are distinctly different undertones. I like both and can see using them paired with the charcoal matte gray and any number of metallics. I found a quad that pairs well with both. Plummy rosy tones and there’s a metallic in every shade, silver gold bronze and platinum. Simply stunning!!! Thanks 😊

This is a similar colour story to the Natasha Denona star pallette but with all the excess you get (that I love) with PML. This is also kind of in the Charlotte Tilbury colour scheme of things. I have to emphasize that I own the majority of the Mothership palettes and do enjoy using them. This particular palette is nothing extremely exciting “to me”. And especially at the high price points of her Motherships. I have an extensive collection of shadows and many singles from Indie brands. I’m sure I can dupe the majority of these shades. And get the same looks. If I really wanted this palette, I would wait for a sale. I do not think it is worth the price especially with the escalating high prices of Necessary day to day needs. Sometimes we have to put things in perspective. This is a splurge product and We All need to make sure we are not overextending our Wallets. Love your channel and your wonderful eye looks. 🤗❤️

@@TaniaBWells well my thoughts so far..but I’ve only used it twice. The pinky burgundy color did not blend well at all I tried different brushes but it’s definitely very pigmented. I love the taupe sparkle. Sorry I tossed my beautiful box so I have not idea what the names were. Lol. I wish she would incorporate the names somehow on the pallet itself. I love The special shades and wet a sponge end brush from Huda Beauty with fix plus and that makes them work perfect. If this sponge Huda brush is still available you should definitely buy it. I have 3 of them. One end is a tiny sponge and the other end is rubber and I think that’s for mixing. I’m not for sure though. My thoughts. 💖💄👄

Try to bring the colors higher than your hood. Mostly the sparkle shades! Pat them higher and it should show up! I know there are lots of youtube tutorial that are on Asian eyes! I am wanting to bring some people on my channel that have different types of eyes so I can show different techniques!!

I think one of them seems to have that crumbly texture but the other ones are a bit harder pressed.. or dare I say creamier and have less fall out, but that duo chrome color has the most fall out!

I agree with what you said at the beginning. Especially, going from the name, it would have been great to see a majority of cool toned shades in the palette. I know atleast one warm shade would have been necessary - looking from a consumers point. Warm shades appeal to the masses. Would also have been great to have had NO pinks and gold! Really redundant and as a consumer, it feels as if I'm paying high buck for just the special shades.

Moonlit seduction makes me think of silver, grey, taupe, lilac/ lavender, darkblue.. a light cool brown in there would also have been nice.

I have all of the motherships and I wasn't sure about this one when I first saw it (the PML palette and swatch photos are always terrible) but I think this could be my favourite..I lean far more towards cool toned looks. People always whinge when PM releases a new palette initially... she obviously has a aesthetic she is partial to and will always lean towards. Normal lighting and lack of gold sequin backgrounds is much more flattering to the colour story as with all her palettes

For Mothership X, I was expecting special packaging, like a moonlit color case not just regular black. Or a more unique color story, not repeated matte and shimmer shades. Disappointed as a PML addict, your beautiful looks make it seem all worth it!

The best review on this palette. I watched Alicia Archer review as well, was nice but if I am honest I love yours better. I am a makeup lover and I do not know how you do it but your looks are sexy - if I may use the word. They are super elegant and complementary to a woman's features. You don't use a ton of eyeshadow some other youtubers do and that maybe the secret. I don't know but there is something on the way you do the makeup that makes it so much more attractive and beautiful. You are very talented Tania. Please make a video it teaching people some techniques in makeup. I love all your videos. You sold this palette to me but I will buy it when the price goes down.
