As amazing as this scene is, I'm not quite there with it yet, there's a big gap between Tanjiro's performance against Gyutaro (Upper 6) and against Hantengu (Upper 4), and I need to know from the coming episodes if Tanjiro really just disrespectfully monstered up since Gyutaro or if this isn't Hantengu's best, I mean we're only at episode 5

I'm not a manga reader, but this is kind of similar when goku when ssj1 vs freezer and they were toe to toe, but when goku came back healed to earth he was toe to toe with trunks, who sliced freezar up in seconds. I'd say tanjiro's scar battle mode (rage?) vs gyutaro was a weakened base tanjiro, as where here he's fully healed. WE'LL SEE. DONT SPOIL PLS!

Gyutaro and Daki deserved to be Upper Moon 5 at the very least. I guess the only reason why they couldn't advance in the ranking was because Gyutaro relies on crippling poison a lot, which probably doesn't work on his fellow Upper Moons.
