An oilfield tank battery is the combination of surface vessels gathered in one place to process a well stream into sellable or disposable products. Oilfield tank batteries exist mainly in the upstream sector of the energy industry. Some call a configuration where two wells share the same pad a central tank battery or CTB. In this video, we look at different configurations of tank batteries and terminologies related to those configurations.

Hi, we're glad to hear you're interested in more training, however, we do not offer any training in process engineering. Our training is focused on process equipment, applications and valving.

At the moment, the training is still limited to our internal team as the curriculum continues to be developed. We had intentions of releasing it a larger audience this year, but setbacks from 2020 have limited our capacity to complete the program. I wish we could have it ready for you, but for now the level one series on KZbin will hopefully be helpful!
