I have been watching their "Workshop VLOG channel" for months - even though I dont understand a word of dutch its well worth watching! Both of them work so well together as a team each have extensive backgrounds working on engines. I know its incredibly hard to do the english translations so I am fine with their being no English translation on the workshop vlogs.

It was an experiment to tumble polish some of the rusted hardware, but instead of using actual polishing compound, they just trew a lot of bolts and screws in there and spun it, resulting in just noise.

Does anyone out there have a clue how Milo could have POSSIBLY known what the correct tension was supposed to be for those springs by just testing an old one? I mean springs DO take a set with age, right? And he definitely knows that. Was that all for the camera? Did he just order actual T-55 springs from Eastern Europe and the rest was just for show?

I watched a video about the latest model Toyota Tacoma and in the video they asked why this model is still with rear drum brakes. In the video the answer was not clear - 'the engineers decided that way'. But here is another useless experiment idea - Get a car with rear drum brakes - measure it's stopping distance power, convert this car to rear disk brakes and see if this makes any difference at all. Cheers Mastermilo!

How did you know how much to tighten down the nuts on the plate that sits on the springs?....and get them even.
@timmayer87235 жыл бұрын
webmozaic this tank will never be driven as hard as when it was a true battle tank in war. No doubt each and every nut and bolt had a torque value when the tank was being assembled. This would still be the case for engine and transmission assembly but for the non stressed assemblies the factory torque value is less of a concern. Depending on the diameter of the bolt there is an assumed torque rating. 12 MM bolts could easily be tightened (torqued) to 180 Nm. Smaller diameter bolts could be tightened to a lesser torque value and so on.
