Hi everybody : ) What type content would you like to see me doing next week? (I have no time for another build in the upcoming weekend, so I look for something else.) No Kit Review, don't worry - How about a basic tutorial? A product indrodution: Plotter/Cutter or Resin Printer maybe? Guide about a class of german tank (and what would be interesting to build aside from early/mid/late)? Let me know what you think. No content is not a option, youtube works how it does and leaves no choice about it ; ) Have a nice weekend and take care friends.

Would you mind trying an aircraft? I’ve always wondered how great tank modelers would do with model aircraft
@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын
Hi James, atm I have no plans for doing a aircraft anytime soon - it would have to be a 109, that's what I can fly in DCS ; ) However, I don't have the nessesary resources: books, paints and a general Idea of what I'm doing while doing it - all that good stuff : / So it would not lead into a good result. I started collection material about the V2 (Aggregat 4) - that's as close as it will get to a aircraft here xD at least for now...

Tankbrusher Scale Modeling Thank you for the reply! Respectfully, I think you should try to keep it simple. What I mean is don’t get too serious with it like you do with armor models, just use it as an opportunity to show everyone how good technique and skill applies to everything in model building not just a single subject. It can be a friendly reminder to everyone to try to break out of their comfort zone and learn new things. I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t focus on making a award winning plane model, use it as teaching tool for your viewers! Thank you for your vids, keep up the great work!

Thank you James, honest suggestions are allways very welcome and highly apreciated from my side. I'll have a eye open for something interessting when I'm at my local store next time.

It is so inspiring for me of using oil paint for aging effect like this, I just know using oil paint for dot filter but never thought of using the contrast for improving the surface of the model, thank you!

Thank you laminen sam! It's a fun technique, but very time intensive ; ) You should check out Adam Wilder (Wilder Weathing Products) and Micheal Rinaldi (Tankart) for the really advanced stuff with oil paints.

Beautiful paint effects. A real pleasure to watch, thanks. I shall have to give the pencils a try - that looks interesting. It's difficult to imagine what the purpose of such a vehicle would be - until I looked it up just now I assumed it was a "what if", imaginary thing. Very strange! Cheers.
@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Andrew! I'm curious about these pencils too - will try to use them for finer scratches in my next build. I can't make any sense of this vehicle either xD Reminds me somehow of the modern US law enforcement mini tank Badger ; )

I always look forward to Thursdays now! It was cool to see the primer finish. This is something I have never done myself but I think it is cool. I like your layering of the paints with hairspray and the chalk markings as well :) just note that some of the newer AK Real Color paints cannot be thinned with X-20A since they've changed the formula to pure lacquer paint.
@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Evan both for watching and your highly appreciated advice! I'll be careful with these RCs. Seems to be impossible to get consistent results with hairspray longterm xD I have DAK and "late war factory camo" still open for me to explore - factory primer was fun, looking forward to see some in one your upcoming projects : ) Take care and have a nice weekend my friend.

Hi, glad you liked it and want to build it yourself. It is not a very popular or super interessting vehicle as a subject, but great fun nevertheless. (And sometimes building a small kit is very refreshing) Looking forward to see one on your channel my friend : )

@joramamodellbau39874 жыл бұрын
@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын

Yeah I don't see this as german... until I see some stamps it's.... a con. But only purpose I can see is sorta a ball Goliath... fill it with explosives and roll up ... and you know the rest. Front slot is a diversion as if it was manned. Still bought it :) what if's are my favorite

Yeah, still if we look at the Räumer S and other stuff Krupp designed... after all it was fun to build and actually from the weathering side of things, it's one of my better ones xD

I printed myself a Raumer s few weeks ago.... it's so cute at 1/200 scale, I also designed a center section that could be dropped off with anti air cannons.
