Honestly, seeing you make a defensive build that actually lets you take LITERALLY 0 damage from virtually every attack sent your way made me cry tears of pure joy because holy FUCK I WISH there were more games (and yeah, I know this is a mod but y'know...) that gave me the option to be an immortal, highly defensive, walking brick house of a tank that laughs in the face of damage instead of the bullshit mechanics that just boil down to "jUsT gEt GoOd", "jUsT dOdGe", or it's a game that FORCES me to dodge every enemy I see because the "defense" stats is just a suggestion and not an actual viable stat to dump points in! Sorry for the rant, but I just really want to play a game that lets me be a tanky paladin or a viable healer without it being a mod specifically (and this isn't me bashing on modders, it's more so directed towards game devs that don't like tanks and healers for some reason).

to be fair you can become pretty unkillabe in base elden ring as well, check out gino machino's video on his defense only run, but it takes a lot of knowledge and definetly feels like it wasnt intended

Sadly they just changed it so that any buffs from sorceries or incantations are now removed when triggering a martial set effect, so builds like this are no longer possible. Also the nerf to defenses. Im personally not happy with the latest update for Convergence. Only positive was the quiver talisman and thats not even working right on release apparently and needs a hotfix.

Convergence feels like if the dlc focused on spells and classes. So cool, powerful bosses that can go toe to toe or even outclass dlc bosses, and too many spells to notice.

The second where you cleaned up the missed bosses is so uncanny lol. Seeing you play the game in a somewhat regular recording session rather than streaming is something I never thought I'd see. Though I was a little disappointed with moongrum. I kinda wanted to see if his parry/repost would've done any damage considering how evil that thing is in base game

In the most recent patch 2.1.2 the devs of the Convergence mod nerfed almost all defensive buffs and talismans. I wonder who's to blame for that?🤔🤔🤣
