SUPER HELPFUL! I've had the Givi T480 for 3 years and the "nylon coil" zipper already failed. I was never satisfied with the T480 for the same reasons you mentioned and just recently heard of the Kappa brand. I just ordered and returned the Givi XS308 because it did not have enough fore/aft adjustability for my '07 Honda VFR. This video was extremely helpful and Kappa should be giving you a chunk of the money I'm about to give them based on your video. Thanks for the excellent review.

Hi do both tankbags use the same base for mounting

Yes. Kappa and Givi supply the same part. Once you have the ring from either, you quickly switch between bags
