I had to miss today, due to ANOTHER medical appointment. I'm so neck deep in mire. This song explains why Nightwish has been so important to me this year . When I have the rope in my hands, they show up with matches and kerosene. This song is from Tuomas to Floor, as thanks for what she's done for the band. It's a kind of love letter. Tank, you are such a mushball. All the best, I hope Tankerbell decides to arrive at a CONVENIENT time.

For me, this song was the biggest surprise of the album. Like you, I expected it to be really smooth and mellow, like a slow, acoustic-style love ballad, but it turned out to be one of the catchiest songs on the album and I absolutely adore it! Fairly certain that's Troy's voice right down on the low C at the very end too. The harmonies are on-point all the way, and the instrumentation is superb. You're going to adore the acoustic version!

Procession are perfection - deep and Floor really drives that song with her incredible colors in her voice. How is the Heart - almost as impossible to sing as Shoemaker - but this is already immortal, especially in the acoustic version.. Human Nature is the natural evolution of Nightwish, breaking new land in making music. And no other band have the capability and capacity to something like this. Great stream - as always 👍👌🤘🤘

Hello good sir! I'm a huge Nightwish fan along with a tremendous amount of other bands. I'm also 4 hours away from you in sevierville tennessee. Lol!! So, over the last few days or so, I've binged watched your Nightwish reactions. It's been such an awesome journey watching you get your face melted time after time. It's truly amazing seeing other people get emotional over their music. If you really want an interesting trip, listen to tuomas' solo album. It's about scrooge mcduck if that tells you anything. Personally, it's not a favorite of mine. But it's a must listen, because there are many Nightwish fans that adore it. I think you should showcase some more tunes that have Anette. Anyways keep these up. Also I think you should give Amaranthe another shot with the studio versions of "scream my name", "365", and "boom". I'd give you Nightwish songs but between all the other fans, I think you've got that covered. Keep up the awesome work!!

With KZbin and Twitch VOD you are not late. We who watch can enjoy as we see fit ... live, or later. Great reaction. Pleased that I'm not the only crybaby embracing Nightwish. ("Doctorate." Indeed. This is the most grown-up album so far. When I am in the mood for their more "young adult" fare, I can always listen to their previous albums. But this is the work that consistently nails me because it is a mature sound and evolved. Every track brings tears to my eyes.)

One thing you learn with Nightwish, you never know what to expect, it's nothing like you expected. Procession is my favorite song from this album, Floors singing is out of this world, that's almost how Tuomas described it too. It is not an ordinary song concept, no chorus as you are familiar with a song. The first song Tuomas did for the whole album. Tuomas songwriting when it comes to ballads is out of this world. Couldn't be at the chat, but wish you and your family the best and wonderful days to come, give your wife my best wishes. ❤

Dude - as a father of 4 girls now between 18 and 8 - I know how you feel with the anticipation of your first daughter. I hope that your family is blessed with good fortune, health and happiness - and of course lots of music too. The fatherhood ride is much like a Nightwish ride - you'll have your heart on your sleeve and there will be lots of happy and emotional moments to treasure. I think "Our Decades in the Sun" (from Endless Forms Most Beautiful) would be even more emotional than this one, since that one is specifically about parents. Nightwish have never performed it live, though. While Floor explained she was too afraid of it affecting her performance for the remainder of a show, she then went and performed it on her solo tour in Jan-Feb 2020... :-) EDIT: If you're not going to do a reaction to it due to no video being available, you should listen to it off-camera with your wife.

Let me get this straight. You want to wait til after the birth and are pretty much emotional to start off with. And then listen to the most emotion producing woman singer, singing the song she said makes her feel the most emotional, in a unbelieveable beautiful deep version with Troy. Tank you are a braver man than I have ever been! You have chosen to do this without you prefather emotion armour ( which you are about to lose).

It's like an honest to God Mozart type orchestral piece. It's easy to pause if you need a break ( generally 4 to 5 minutes per section ) and very worth it. Procession is weird even compared to Tuomas's usual weird, but I liked it.

It's rather amusing you expect to react to anything but the baby monitor in the foreseeable future ))) Granted, as a new parent you learn others' babies are not predictive and you might win the chill baby lottery, but it's still amusing... Your best laid plans are about to be tested in action ))) Totally agree on maturity commentary although we won't know if it's absolute at least till the next album. With Troy and Kai coming onboard, the band got older overall, in addition to TH now being over 40. Troy's influence is understated, but seems significant, as evidenced by Auri, among other things. Not to mention TH's status and enviable freedom to do pretty much whatever he wants...

songs that make you cry because of children. Mine is Titan by Hammerfall for my first born the specific lyric that gets me is "Even the dark has a silver lining" (both mother and baby were (and are) fine this isnt even the worse birth story the second child was worse) the story of the birth of my first child i'm at work in a meeting at 4pm my mobile rings and i answer its the wife asking when i'll be home, i say i'm in a meeting it will be about 1 1/2 hrs, she reply's its ok I've been in labour since about 9am don't worry its not progressing very fast. she says I don't need to hurry and she will ring me if I need to hurray back ok. 5.30 comes i get home no change she wants to go for a walk get something for dinner we can box up if we need to go to the hospital quickly and a walk might help progress the labour. We go for a walk to the local shop, half way there there is a narrow pavement my wife is infront of me and turns to talk to me a slips down the kerb and faceplants on the road. I pick her up we walk home (like 400 yards) her knees are grazed, elbows face and she cant move her left arm. Dial 999 ambulance to the hospital my wife has broken her elbow. so we are in A &E she gets x-rayed gets to 10pm the hospital still hasn't checked the baby at this point so we are both frantic , they cant do anything for her elbow as shes a) pregnant and b) in labour so they just encase her entire arm in plaster so she cant cause any more damage to it moving it we get transferred to a maternity ward where by about 2am they check how my wifes labour is progressing she still early stages they keep her in but is a female ward and i get booted out and sent home. i return to the hospital at 8am we then go through waters being broken, sweeps, hormone drips epidurals and my daughter is born at 8pm so 35 hour labour 26 hours of that with a broken elbow, i leave the hospital at midnight and the first song to come on in my car is Titan by Hammerfal
