I’ve been in a pretty dark place as of late. After losing someone I loved about three months ago. For whatever reason the weight of it all came crushing down recently. Then I came across this track. And it got me through the night. I’m not this honest on here. But I think it’s important to say that this song saved my life. I miss you Rachel love you always.

I remember discovering Captives on Spotify a couple years ago, loved all their songs but Signs was my favorite. Just recently found out about their name changed and that explains the gap in time I haven't heard them. I had to go back an re-add all their music because of the name change. Hey tank :) First: great reaction as always. I watched the video on the day you released it. Today I stumbled over a band called "In Our Wake" which have an awesome sound, a bit similar to "Caskets". As far as I could find, they're pretty new and still a small band. The song "never letting go" is their debut single and really blew me away. Maybe you know them. If not, maybe you wanny try them out :) Greetings from Germany.
@davidputterman27193 жыл бұрын
Totally surprising! I originally had reservations before the song even played. That quickly changed. As a drummer, Casket's drummer tastefully nailed this song and his fills were not overdone and were perfectly placed within the recording. Now I'm going to have to listen to this song again and take in the lyrical content which I did not do during this first look. I'm sure it's just has heavy as the music. Thank you Tank. Great job as usual.
@Trip6IX5022 жыл бұрын
Followed these guys since they were Captives. First experience was with the song Signs. I can talk about how great the band is as a whole, but the singer is the biggest stand out for me. You rarely get this kinda voice in heavy music, and they’re definitely heavier than Slaves (with Jonny Craig), Awaken I Am, Floya, VRSTY, most Dayseeker, and all those other bands with phenomenal singers, but this dude projects his voice so well, and the emotion in it is crazy. I can’t wait for more music from these guys.

This took me real by surprise and way out of left field. I lost my grandma just recently, not surprising, considering she was 93, but it hurts. a lot. she was a role model of a human beeing and one of my best friends. This album SHOULD have exploded. I have to be honest. I was obsessed and only listening to Lorna Shore's new INSANE album. But as soon as Spotify snuck in some of Casket's tracks into my current playlist, their Lost Souls album surpassed Pain Remains. First: probs to you for being so consequent when it comes to Lost Prophets - for me that band's been AILD - never really felt comfortable listening to them again after what had happened and, yes, sorry for the rest of the band, but not listening to them anymore AND for that I really really got some flak from other fans -.- Feels good to see that others won't deify their favourite bands so much and know where to draw their personal lines... Second - and that's much more along the lines with this vid: Damn, what a great find 🥰 Love, how atmospheric these guys sound. Kinda reminds a bit of WCAR for that reason, and maybe even a bit of Architects (the singer's range reminds me of Sam's) and bands like As Lions, Dreamshade and Dream on Dreamer 😊 I'll definitely have to check them out ❣

First of all, great video...as always! 👏🤙 What you said about Lostprophets really struck a point! I did the same after learning about what was going on... However that opens up 2 qustions to me - 1: why don't you react to a video of the band that the guys put together who are not the vile people of LP? Maybe that could help them a lot! 2: on a similar but not necesseraliy same principal, what's your take on As I Lay Dying?🤔 Keep up the good work!! 🙏
@TankTheTech3 жыл бұрын
My take on AILD is pretty different actually, as there's a lot of factors involved. I absolutely cannot support Tim for the stuff that he did. No excuses in my book. And the band did a weird turn as well, where they said they were supporting his ex-wife and would never accept Tim back into the band, and then the second he's out of jail, they bring him back and start releasing new music. Of course, this is all opinion. I don't think less of anyone listening to AILD, but me personally, I won't.
