It's pretty amazing that still, in 2022, with the endless amount of songs that have been made through out the years, you can still make a song that basically consists of 2 notes and make it sound like nothing else. The simplicity is its brilliance, like Sepultura - Bloody roots. It feels like I'm being attacked by a bear!
@ludvigodling99472 жыл бұрын
Carvings/Strangler vibes from this but almost like ”upgraded” and heavier. This album can’t come soon enough!

I think Shaman EP is a taste of their new direction in the new album, because they're always doing something different ever since In Medias Res. This song in particular is made for live shows, I think. It's more of a relentless chant than your usual structured song. I can't wait for 2023.

In the last week or so, I've been itching for new OC music after getting my melodeath fix from The Halo Effect album that recently dropped (awesome album!) so this release is perfectly timed. As a huge OC fan, they never, ever disappoint, and are so consistent and incredible that it's just a huge gift when they release new material. Finally, the song...My neck is sore and I agree completely with Tank in that I feel this track is a fantastic extension of Carvings and I loved every second of this! It's a great day to listen to OC so thank you Tank for your excellent reaction, I also had a huge grin on my face as well.

Having to wait on the best reactor is as painful as waiting for the best band to drop new videos. Let’s Go!!!! Ready for this reaction. P.S. probably have listened to this song 50 times already. It’s an absolute brutal banger. OC delivers like no one else.

I love this band SO MUCH! One thing I absolutely love about their music is that it doesn't make me tired like some of the other heavy songs, when you listen to them you have to take a break because the music is so intense. Love the head banging man, you were keeping up with the energy of this song. Orbit Culture has been my favourite band since Rasen and this song slaps. I will 666% be moshing to this live one day. I love that this song is almost an anthem of the band itself. The antler symbolism representing the band logo and the lyrics talking about “we’re in Orbit” and obviously beware of the antlers. Anyways love your video, thanks for the tank tips, equipment notes, talking about the band, and sharing their hype. Keep it up! 🤘

Though I haven't heard everything Orbit Culture's done, I wasn't sure at first if I liked this or not because I missed hearing Niklas' clean vocals; this is the first Orbit Culture song I've heard in which Niklas has only used harsh vocals. I really love how punishing the main riff is, and I'm happy they changed things up just as it was starting to get a bit repetitive for me. The change-up helped me to appreciate the riff all over again once it returned. All in all, Vultures of North really delivered on the punishing "groove metal" sound Orbit Culture excels at, and the production value screams quality as it always has. I really do hope this band will blow up soon, and their tour will certainly help with that. Also, I think I read online somewhere that Niklas did want to do a Metallica tribute album soon. After hearing their cover of Hardwired, I _REALLY_ hope that happens soon! I can already imagine which other Metallica songs will sound amazing with the Orbit Culture treatment.
@stormland16262 жыл бұрын
The song's really good, but I think we can both agree that they owe Dino Cazares and Fear Factory a sandwich for that main riff.

Funny how you said Tribal because I thought of Soulfly’s song ‘Unleash’ with Dave Peters of Throwdown on guest vocals, and when you hear the trippy guitar parts of Rizzo reminded me of parts of this song. Loved this reaction and how you got wet in the eyes in the end of the song! That shines on how god damn muched you liked it! A reflection I had on why you liked it so much. It got that nordic death metal vibe of late 90's, early 2000s of bands like Children of bodom which I know you like very much. I saw this gig coming up in Stockholm where I live. The regular tickets goes for about 60$ and they where sold out long ago. Then theres the VIP/meet and greet tickets for ~100$ or the platinum tickets for 150-200$.... and I started studying since the pandemic hit the stage industry, so my income is not the best lol. BUT my courses ends the same day as the show so I guess I'll be pulling some strings and coming back to work!!! :D Imminence saved my life with the Heaven in hiding(how I orginally found your channel btw) album and In flames was one of the first real metal bands I found as a kid. The pits on this tours with these bands will be to die for, in the best of ways!

I think this song is a perfect transition between the old EP. You can hear a bit of carvings, strangler and even the mast of the world… but heavier. I have a good feeling about this.. and II also thought a bit about the extra song “ mute the silence”, was I the only one that did that?

Orbit Culture have found the miracle recipe for going brutal with just enough synth and melodic to make it a great listen for those who can't cope with the ultra thrashing some other bands perform. Too bad they're nowhere near me on the tour in Germany. The signaling with the antlers is something you see a few times in Heilung videos and it's interesting to see it in this genre. And if you see something that reminds you of Heilung it doesn't get more ritualistic and tribal. 🙂
