With gravity.. etc. Even the chance to explore Sora's new powers and where they come from.. for example maybe there isn't a previous elemental of technology but they explore the idea of it being theoretically possible if/when the prequel would go thru it's "dragon core" arc.. The idea he could be the former Master of Form is quite good to me, but if he was not, I always have got in mind the mystery of Cole's grandfather. I remember we saw him, once, but I can be wrong; some also said that he could be a bad guy, in Serpentine Wars or in some other Ninjago crisis. I can't see details that could confirm that he and Cole or Lilly could be related, so, well, I just would like to know more about Lilly's father and if he was a bad guy for real. We also don't know anything about Karlof, so he maybe a former Master of Metal; as he uses the flute, he has not got those big hands; when we see him on the ground, maybe he uses Metal in a different way, maybe like Cole with rocks or Zane with ice-blocks. Then, there are lots of different Elements, almost forgotten after "Hands of Time", plus, elemental dragons had been forgotten. I always wonder if each Master could reach the same form Nya reached with Water, but this is off-topic. ;-)

I think he's a past elemental master of light because he doesn't appear in enough flashback scenes compared to other old elemental masters, maybe it's because he turns himself invisible sometimes : he's the only elemental master who doesn't appear during the fight against the time twins. But some people say : "it is the master of light", other say : "it is the master of smoke", other say : "it is the master of mind", other say : "it is the master of form"... And why not the master of amber : maybe he has copied all the elemental powers thanks to his power and has merged them for control all the elements. He is maybe become the master of amber instead of Master Chen (Skylor's father).

I like the theory of him being the original master of the mind. I had my own theory. In Tournament of Elements, on the ship to Chen's island, Garmadon explains some of the other elemental masters. When talking about Mr. Pale he says "That pale man, a distant relative to the master of light." This, as far as I remember is the only time an elemental master of light is mentioned. And if we look at this guys design, it kinda fits the element light. It would explain his dragon, which looks to but full of light in its body. And his clothes have designs that kind of resemble lightning. Of course, we know Libber is the original master of lightning. So perhaps this design is meant to resemble streams of light. You could also argue the pattern looks like cracks so take that evidence with a grain of salt. So while I do like the master of the mind theory, my personal theory is that he's the master of light.

I assumed he was The First Spinjitzu master as he had a golden dragon and something in him resembled the guy in my opinion, perhaps similar costume or age? Also, elemental masters were claimed to be guardians of TFSM so I assumed that they could be hanging out together. Also, Garmadon wanted to get the golden weapons likely soon after TFSM died so it has not happened hundreds of years ago. As season 5 resetted the timeline, Morro would have needed to be trained for a couple of years, before, during and after serpentine wars in order for TFSM being dead before Morro went to searching for his grave. This is also possible although it's not the first interpretation of the timeline, I think most assume Morro left before the serpentine war broke out.

Personally, i think it's a case of ninjagos many inconsistencies from being regularly written without plans for the future. 🤷 i love this show but im also not above pointing out its flaws in haphazard lore making. Wonder what the show could be if it was ever fully rebooted with the original as a guidline but the opportunity to make things more cohesive with more consistent lore and worldbuilding. As it is, ive noticed some comments sayint he could be a master of light and i like that idea.
