The mic clipped onto the shovel 🤣 Repotting and repotting babies from big mama plants is my personal love language. I know a lot aren't confident, don't know how or don't want to do that themselves, but there's truly something therapeutic about spending time with my plants.

It helps to shear the roots with a sharp scalpel or kitchen shears. The current root system has signaled “contact inhibition” with the previous pot’s walls….gently shearing roots will awaken growth hormones to the new larger pot

Alternate plan, leave the pot on the ground in a corner and forget completely about them. Finally check on them 3 years later and discover that the pot is totally shattered and it's just a mound of babies surrounding a massive mother, with little decorative pieces of terracotta poking out.

My mom has been gone for 6 years. She had this enormous Christmas cactus that needed to be replanted when she got sick. Now, 10 years later, it is still in the same pot. I'm afraid of killing it when I replant it. Losing it would be like losing another piece if her. Can you help? How do I do this. How much larger should the pot be? Will a Christmas cactus survive its roots being teased out? Should I use some kind of transplant juice to keep it from shock? I just don't know what to do so I gave done nothing.😢

You can use the Gel (inside the fillets) (Aloe Leaf), and make Aloe Water, which will use more of the plant than just using topically - sunburn, burns, bites and stings. Use the Largest fillets, split them along a side, then use a medium spoon to scrape the gel. Mix about 1/2 cup into a gallon of water. Let it sit for 24 hours in your fridge, and drink about 8 Oz. a day. Good for antioxidants , Skin health, joint pain, etc.
