Def try it out. This machine was the best thing I ever did besides making wreathes. It's fun, crafty and you can make some pocket money if you like. I def needed the extra money. I started with a Circuit Explore air 2 so I was really nervous. Then I had so many rolls of diff I didn't know where to start. I just watched her tutorials and picked a dog silhouette and it turned out beautiful! Now I make them for everyone

great tip about masking tape, I used regular 1" and over lapped the tape 1/4" Works great and a lot less expensive. Can see it wouldn't work on some projects but the eagle design for my lap top worked great. Thanks Oh love the accent!

Thank you for the tutorial. I am very new to all this. Your tutorial has been helpful. I am having problems with getting the sign onto the project. It seems no matter how much I burnish the piece the transfere paper doesn’t pick everything up without a lot of manipulation and then the sign doesn’t stick to the project. I have been getting pretty frustrated. Any suggestions as well as pointing me to more tutorials would be very much appreciated.

Great tutorial ☺️ I’ve had my cricut maker for over a month and have been putting off learning how to use it....I still feel overwhelmed with all the possibilities of what I can use this machine for, but your video’s are helping me to relax and take it one project at a time 🙂. I am curious though, I am going to be starting with making wood signs, photo boards etc......they are all painted / stained just waiting for the pretty writing!..... I won’t be able to clean the area with rubbing alcohol before laying the vinyl down....is this going to change the outcome?

Being overwhelmed with possibilities is a GREAT thing! We're so glad you feel like you can make a project at a time! That's what we like to hear. That's a great question! It will effect the outcome! Wood does not love vinyl. Vinyl does not stick amazingly well on wood because of it's texture. if it's rough and un-sanded it can be tricky. We usually recommend ironing onto wood, so using HTV instead of regular vinyl unless your wood is very smooth. It's personal preference, and as you use it and work with it you will be able to tell which you like better!

Makers Gonna Learn thank you so much for your speedy reply 😊 One more question.....I tried to figure this one out but am not having much luck....I have some signs that are made with multiple pieces of wood, held together with strapping (vertically) .... I want the writing to carry over from one piece of wood to the next..... do I need to do this by making a vinyl stencil? I’m assuming so....but assuming doesn’t usually get me far 😛. Thank you so much for your time.
