As someone who may have De Thick ancestors I am glad you took a detour in the Manor and chapel. The family were from South Derbyshire and one of daughters married into the family who owned Codnor Castle at the time. The East Midlands had powerful families back when the Tudors were in charge.

Great video Leigh. I enjoyed this as I love the area where you walked, especially Dethick. Bit quieter than the Peak District and it's just as nice I reckon. Glad you enjoyed your walk 👍
