Making A Multidimensional Game

In my quest to figure out how the game Fez, achieves their mind bending multi dimensional 2D/3D mechanic. II happily managed to make my own version of it, minecraft but played on a 2D slice in a 3D world like Fez.

I would like to legally steal this idea and make it a complete game! It would be difficult with my lack of knowledge and lack of friends that can rap but I have an idea of how I could make it nearly almost work but not quite. Time to put this into the ideas box for later and when the time is right I will drag it out kicking and screaming and attempt to give it life!

The most surprising thing is not that this is a 2.5d Minecraft clone with Fez-like mechanics... the most surprising thing is this being the first Tantan project done in anything other than Rust I've seen since I started watching this channel.

Yeah I used to use Unity a lot before, it has many pros. Yet I found more enjoyment out of making Rust projects at the moment.

if i made this, i probably wouldve just made the blocks hitboxes really long depending on which axis youre looking at. although when you switch angles you would just likely be standing on nothing lol.
