These are my favorite guitar restoration and repair videos because there's no music or voice over - just the sounds of the instruments being repaired!

Me too...you really seem like a person who knows at every moment what the problem is and how you will solve it. If you weren't this, maybe you should have been a doctor? But, does it seem to me or is it just me: with every new video and new details in nail polish?

As always, very nice work young lady. I do appreciate you are being a little more in depth showing the rounding off of the fret ends and showing how it takes a little more than a few taps to seat the new fret in the slot. Also the close ups of removing excess super glue with the chisel. And nice nails too!!!! Always a different nail polish job for every video, nice touch and it gets our attention.

Could you put a list up somewhere on your videos or your KZbin page where you list and link the tools you use? I'm curious what some of them are, and I do not wish to waste your time by asking constantly... You do beautiful and inspiring work! Це ж яка потрібна відкалібрована точність усіх приладів, щоб кожна деталька відмінно стала на своє місце! I own 7 electric guitars, so I did all six with stainless steel frets, I have not refret my 7th guitar because my tools are all blunt except for the files. I need a new fret cutter and my tang cutter tool broke on the 6th guitar...have not ordered it yet and it's been 2 years since I DIY my own stainless steel fret job. After watching your video, it kind of inspired me to finish up my last 7th guitar. Right now that 7th guitar is sitting inside the case without any frets on...🤣

I've watched several of your vids now and they're all great. You and TWoodfrd are wizards with some of these repairs. A lot of work (like refret) that I don't want to attempt on my own guitars. I've got an old Tokai les paul badly needing a refret job so it was neat to see the process. I'm surprised the owner of this V didn't want you to install the Kluson locking tuners and throw those Magnums in the trash. I had the magnums on my Tokai for about a year and they were really a pain in the ass.

I like your marking the fret board with a pencil to identify raised areas on the fret board. Good one! I've installed ss frets on my strat but after doing a fret level may have to to do it one more time. Fretboard is maple but seems to be straight though.

Beautiful work! I recently refretted one of my guitars, first time ever, and learned that it is NOT an easy task. One question, though. Why did you not put even a single full turn on the tuning pegs? Doesn't seem like it would hold string tension very well like that.

Hi Tanya. Is the reason for putting CA glue on the frets after they have been seated, to ensure the glue gets onto both the fret and the ebony? I have only previously seen the glue put into the slot. Thanks, I am enjoying your videos and hope you are safe and well in the Ukraine 😊
