@@KipngenoKennedy What does currency bulkiness has to do with hosting a tournament?.. Tanzania already hosted African Football League opening in Oct 2023 and it was superb. The fans, the atmosphere, the stadium, hospitality.. everything was on point.

Couldnt be further from the truth 🤣🤣🤣...Football fine no arguments but sports capital of East Africa? thats the biggest lie ever told Kenya is a Global brand in Sports...Global leave alone Africa talk about Athletics, Rugby, Volleyball, Hand ball even Basketball its only football that kenya is not very strong but even there some good internationally recognised players the likes of Mariga who won the Champions League with Mourinho at Inter as a striker, Dennis Oliech who had a very succesfull stint in France, Olunga is doing very well in Qatar and had a good stint in Laliga with Girona guys like Victor Wanyama at Celtics and Tottenham Hotspurs just to name a few well known guys so even in football its not all bad news

Infrastructure development in Tanzania is getting ahead of all our neighbors and the BRT phase three and four will be done before the opening of the tournament. Tanzania needs to get into the CCM Kirumba and Arusha Abeid Aman Karume Stadium renovations and bring them up to par with the AFCON standards

It is very challenging to host elections and afcon the same year but as a Kenyan I'm confident it is possible for Kenya to the tournaments opening match and the finals in May just only three months to election month in Kenya
