Back in 2005 when i lived with a local family and taught English for a few months i used to walk this beach to relax every afternoon, swim in the sea for a wash. I remember it once being crowded, Christmas time, but only the males were aloud to swim in the sea. But many afternoons there were fishermen plying their trade using casting nets.
