OM my God! An absolute masterpiece. My favorite out of the series. Been listening to it for decades. My go to for years to induce deep states of relaxation and abandonment when doing bodywork or simply relaxing . Never gets old and I never go without a copy. Thank you for sharing.

One of our all-time favourites. Oddly, I become more motivated, creative, and effective when listening to this. Relaxed but effortlessly active. Whatever happened to Tao Atmospheres? What were their other CDs like?

​​@@walterhernandez9867I bet it's not even a Chrome tape - and I bought empty Chrome II C-90 (later C-110) tapes already in high school around 1976, and it says online they've been around for 50+ years when noone here hardly had Dolby... Like my 15-year-older brother's first, tiny "cassette deck" ("kassettdäck" in Swedish), or cassette recorder, which he paid the equivalent of, like $175 circa 1966. Approx. 3 days' pay (!) before the 38% tax we had until around 1991, when it was lowered to the 30% most people still have. But instead, electricity and old school telephoning was taxed 25%, just like consumer goods and groceries were, and I'm derailing again...🙄

Tao Atmospheres doesn't exist anymore. It's a seven cassettes serie released in early 90's. Then came the CD's copies. To my opinion, they are the best of this genre! Very powerful and meditative music! I've got all the seven cassettes and CD's too....😌 Real gems!

@@androgyne2115 We have this CD but not the other ones. I believe they were produced in Quebec originally. I would love to hear the other ones as well. A meditation teacher recommended the Transe CD in particular.

Sounds like Mantra by Somei Satoh. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3jJhmxseLlqqqc Doesn't have the layering or the power of Mantra but this has a similar contemplative meditative feel to it. A decade earlier than Satoh so an inspiration perhaps?
