Great vids keep up the good work .fuel does spoil and can clog up the carbureter especially the jets and the float.if you don't run it in winter might be better to just drain all the fuel out of the tank and carbureter.
@arberfilms23023 жыл бұрын
Or just turn the fuel off, and change out your fuel filter?

I have the db-14 (110cc) pit bike, and when I start it I have to put the choke on, but when I start it I have to immediately turn choke off and rev it up or it will bog out.

Im having problems with a pit bike I bought and I can't find any videos that will help me.. So I came here because you explain things so god damn well. So when I start up my pit bike it idles fine and all and I go into first fine and as soon as I put it in second the bike just shakes and slows down then stalls. It makes a really loud sound at the same time. I dont use second gear because I can't so I just skip second. Any ideas on whats wrong? I think second gear is worn out. If so can you make a video on how to fix it :). Keep up da good work

Another thing to get for winter is an exhaust plug so no critters get in to your exhaust
@Sanesaint18 ай бұрын
Try 2 1/2 turns out on the motor side and one and a half turns out for the air if you go over three you need a new spark plug

You better put some kind of a tire protection on them tires so they don't dry rot yeah I always leave my gas tank about halfway full I don't ever feel it all the way up
@Sanesaint18 ай бұрын
Take the tires apart put some Grease in the axles start learning young that's good working on it in the winter time after the first season, you'll end up changing the carburetor

Normally your bike needs to go up 10 points in main jet size. This will help with the bogging . Mine came unmarked but I measured it and it is in the 95 to 98 range. So change to size 110 in mukni jet . The hardest part of the job will be removing the fuel bowl screws . They have no screw head. Use a dremel to cut a slot across the screw head ( r/c airplane motor screw removal trick ) . Mine ran very nice after doing this . Good Luck and enjoy your youth !

@a-rush95008 жыл бұрын
I think this would be a good starter bike for you, but If you want something a little bigger ssr makes a 140cc as well.
@jonathankoulai29978 жыл бұрын
a- Rush what's the difference between two stroke and 4? And how long do u think it would take me to use the clutch
@jerridwynn31796 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Koulai difference is 2 stroke you have to mix oil and gas accordingly, 4 stroke you have to keep up with oil changes instead of mixing but yeah you can get these taotaos off of the web for about 500 and it'll be a good starter bike for you to get on and get used to using a clutch and shifting gears and since it's cheap you don't have to worry about it getting tore up as much as you would with a $1200 bike

@stone98824 жыл бұрын
Don’t fill your tank up because those months you don’t use it for the gas will get old and if you know old gas is not good for your bike just burn your old fuel
