TAONGA FROM TANGAROA | KINA DIVING

Kia Ora e te iwi!
Welcome to my first KZbin video in a few years lol.
For a while my confidence had always relied on affirmation and other people’s opinions, until I started my own journey to self love.
Diving has been for the last 4 months one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. My first dive I saw more “new” animals FACE-TO-FACE in the ocean then I have ever seen, imagine a world like avatar. That’s what you’re faced with underwater. UNIQUE, ANCIENT BEAUTY.
I’ve learnt stillness in the power of Tangaroa, openness faced with big animals, gratitude in our environment while weaving and flowing through the crooks and cracks of rocks and ledges, and aroha in the abundance I am given from opportunities, scenic views, to kaimoana and the look of pure excitement from my whanau faces.
Anyway whanau, this is what a normal dive mission for me looks like.
Didn’t film my karakia as it was intimate for me and Hinemoana in that moment. (Not having seen her for two weeks)

Kia ora Good to see the shoe go in your catch bag. That place was a dumping ground steel frames garbage They put the treatment ponds in across from there on the hill. The outlets not far from there. The old ones were right there. Out further concrete placements. Looks clear and no evidence of a dump apart from a shoe. Scene safety : waters calm clear. Area knowledge. Safe inshore. Big kina, And some paua Buddy -Go pro Kai test .sweet as?
