Great educational content thanks! What's up with the band around the flopper? Is it just a rubber band that gets pushed off when it goes through a fish...?

Those are flopper rings. Keeps shaft streamline and helps with accuracy when shooting. They slide off with water pressure when fired. They are nice to use.

Very nice video , loved it , lots of pointers regarding tides, moon phase , locations etc , might not seem like much but definitely can make a better spearo better with knowledge for sure , some things newbies would over look probably , great content, awesome . 👍

You should never pull a fish off a loaded shaft like that , do it before you pull the bands . Scetchy
