It's too expensive, you spend almost 100 credits for a miserable 10 second shot, it's not like it's perfect yet, and you can't animate it from an image either, the truth is that this model is quite useless and expensive.

Quickly run out of credits with every worthless result. If you only had to pay for the ones you save it would be ok but then people could just screen cap them and never pay...I guess. If I'm going to subscribe I want the complete and full program with no credits required, no limits imposed else I'm out. Too bad, looks like fun.

You must be using gen 2, they don't allow free use of gen 3 without supscription

I the issue is that it's costs Runway to create the generation even it's the result is bad so perhaps they released this too early

Great, but too many limitations on free plan and credits, its sole purpose of existence is practically money, too many other AI tools to spend money on. Hoping upcoming AI GPUs make things cheaper.

Gen-3 looks amazing and I can't wait to see how it compares to Luma AI with image to video. But what I really wish is that these AI companies would start offering refunds for all the unusable results. I burned through all of my Luma AI credits making one video, and that was with all of Tao's amazing tips.

Yeah, the pricing can be too costly depending on the quality of the results you want. If Gen-3 brings back the image previews before creating videos like Gen-2 has, then it would be easier to use.

I believe Kling is really good. And it does image to video. I made many videos with it and the results are great...and tottaly free.

Agreed. Very expensive and overhyped. I ran 4 prompts earlier. All the quirks of Gen 2 with more speed and smoothness of motion. Luma, in my experience, has it beat for now.

nice video i think gen3 is DEF a powerful too BUT going in you MUST know its limitations. just like gen2 there are limitations though not quite as nearly limiting as gen2 was but if you work around that and through trial and error you can it seems get some pretty amazing results for sure! i think overall quality wise its the best out there right now even beating luma as far as quality overall. cant wait to try it out!

Try removing the punctuation from your prompt - it seems to trigger edits or cuts (periods more so than commas)

Yep this vid nailed it to the point! The alpha version quality is much lower than the promo vid. It's even worse when comparing its quality with 10 credits per sec!!

I think Gen3 is best used for landscapes/environments/nature/outdoor cameras and maybe specific cinematic styles. It's really good at specific types of videos but it doesn't have a wide range of styles it can animate well.

The latest 2 videos on my channel were made entirely with Gen 3, I'm trying hard to push it to do some interesting stuff. Please check it out! Currently makes something usable about every third attempt. But works out REALLY expensive right now

Runway does require a ton of iteration and trial and error. I think as more people use it, the best practices for prompting will develop and it'll become easier to use

as a producer and artist i've been using gen3 for real world artistic purposes. My most recent single's music video was created with gen3 and for the first time ever it's actually worth it. It cost me about $30 in credits. I'll be making more music videos with it if anyone wants to follow along

Gen-3 is the most expensive Ai video as far as I know. Luma gets you a lot more videos. I haven't tried Haiper much.
